Stephen's Secure Blog #406
These stories about Stephen began was when he was 10 years old, and
moving to a new part of the country to attend a special school for
gifted students, in the 1950's. This was from a time before computers
would fit on a desk, and when people communicated with friends in other
countries by actual letters sent through the postal service. He wrote
225 of them to a friend. He stopped writing to his penpal, but found he
still wanted to record his life, in case he lost his memory again, and
wrote 30 entries in his first logbook. Then he wrote to an artificial
intelligence called Geenee, in the master computer in his school for
gifted students, which he started attending in 2016. Now it's after
2018, and he's continuing to save his memories in a secure blog.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
The stories may not be posted in chronological order.
Stephen is 21 in this story, in Summer of year 11 of his special school.
Stephen's Secure Blog #406 "CNN Politicians Acting Badly"
START Page
I said to my group, "Rose was in the last love broadcast. What do you
think of inviting another of us to join me in it? Justifications are,
we don't have to tell the public who it is, and I think it's a good
idea to get as many of us as I can, kind of, well, introduced to those
in the other realm." Chad said "YES!" I said "Any other objections?"
Laughter. No objections. I said "For the first one, I propose Srinoy."
Chad said "Right. He's a Buddhist. I can't object to that." I said
"Other comments?" Hawk said "He's going to want to squirt." Ichi said
"When doesn't he?" Chuckles. I said "So that's settled. I'll see how
that works out, before proposing the next candidate."
After notice, I ported to Srinoy's office. We talked about regular
things, and then I said, "Rose was with me on my last love broadcast.
How would you like to join me for the next one?" He was surprised, and
then he cried. I said "I suppose you might agree to it?" He nodded
violently. I said "You're not in the open, world wide, and I think we
should keep it that way as long as we can, to give you some privacy."
He said "I agree. I can walk around outside at home, and be myself, and
not be recognized. You can't do anything like that. I'm sorry you have
to live like that." We were sitting together. He kissed and hugged me.
That led to some interest in physical things. I said "My house on
Allguard?" He said "Already gave notice." We stood and ported there,
and with the link going strong, we did some high intensity squirting,
multiple times. While we were resting, he said, "Nothing like two ball
sensitives together in the link!" I grinned and said, "That's what Pete
and I used to say." He laughed. I said "Your genes. Preserving them?"
He said "In Chad's company. Not in a girl yet. I heard they're after
you." I said "And when you're 18 next year, you will be VERY popular.
Absolutely! Who wouldn't jump at the chance to have one of the best of
us, a situation manager, and a ball sensitive? Just the experience
would do it, and the possibility of having a child like that, and the
cutest? They'll kidnap you." He laughed in embarrassment. We had to do
more squirting.
The July 4th love and healing broadcast with Srinoy went as usual. He
cried right after that, and we spent more time in my house on Allguard,
squirting our guts out. I told him what Hawk and Ichi had said about
it, and we laughed together with love. In the regular CNN show, Don
said, "Your love broadcast was different this time. I felt someone else
in it, but not Rose." I said "Right. I had invited another of my
associates to join me. I'm not going to say who it was, because of
privacy issues. There will be a different person the next time. I
haven't asked, yet, but I don't expect anybody will refuse." He said
"Absolutely! Who would refuse to to be touched directly by God?" I said
"Actually, that's not their major reason for doing it. They already
know God. It's the privilege and joy of sharing their love with eight
billion people that they want to experience. There is nothing like it
in existence." He said "They know God? Please explain that!" I said
"All advanced Adepts of my schools know and understand about
reincarnation, and something of why, just by being who they are, with
what they can perceive. When they are with me when I receive a message
from God, they feel something of that, and recognize it for what it is.
Unmistakable. And it's not too infrequent, so a lot of my people have
felt it, and even Adepts in Tibet before they were my students. Talk
about surprise!" He chuckled. He said "Unmistakable?" I said "Yes. It
can't be faked. We know the sources of what our psionic senses show us.
Each mind, each being, is unique to our perception, and we sense much
of their qualities even in the fleetest of contacts. They know it isn't
me trying to fool them. As if I could, or could want to. We are all
unable to lie." He said "Wow!" I said "Often, after those events."
Don said "I've been asked to ask you, do you have other inventions
that you plan to release in the near future?" I said "I don't know the
real future, so I can't answer that." He said "Good evasion. Do you
have patentable discoveries or inventions that in your judgement you
COULD release and not be harmful to our economy?" I said, plaintively,
"You're getting better at this. Don't." He laughed. I said "While I can
be sure that some things WOULD cause harm, I can't be sure which ones
WON'T cause harm, because all would cause change, and how that would
happen, and how bad that would be, I'm not able to calculate with
precision. Too many immeasurable variables. And I'm not the only
inventor of my group. Many of us have invented things, and some have
been patented. Some went to the government, and became public domain
after being unclassified. If we were looking for personal faults among
us, the biggest would be the inability to do nothing." He said "All
that is interesting, but you still haven't answered my question." I
said "You've got all the answer about that you're going to get. What we
did and don't do in this area is a process. When decisions are made,
they are implemented then. Even if I knew, I wouldn't tell you. If I
announced I was working on a particular invention, what would the
people do who were working on the same idea?" He said "Oh, I
understand. They would stop. You don't want to stifle other inventors.
Good idea." I said "Thanks. A little late, though." He chuckled.
I said "And add dipity to it. Lots of dipities. When researchers are
looking to invent something, very often they discover something they
never thought of before, and new great inventions happen. That's called
serendipity. I absolutely do NOT want to reduce that in any way.
Actually, I'm encouraging it. There are many possible inventions that
can come from what I've recently patented, that I have NOT patented."
He said "Wow! That could benefit mankind more than your patents
themselves!" I said "Yes they will. Intentionally. Did you think I do
this for money or fame? I don't even like or value those things.
Practically all I do is for one reason. You know what it is." He said
"I do know. It's love. You love us." I said "That's who I am. Love." He
had tears, when he said, "Lets go to break." I ported a box of tissues
to him, which he used.
He said, back from break, "The Democrat who asked for your approval.
Your announcement about it was funny. Most of us didn't expect that." I
said "Me, too. I didn't write that to be funny, but to be accurate. I
noticed it could have some humor in it after I wrote it." He said "Oh!
I apologize. I forgot you don't lie even when you are joking." I said
"His campaign office was in a strip mall, with a glass front. Their
loud arguments could be seen and heard by anybody who was on the
sidewalk in front of the office. After I ported him back, I heard and
saw his people quit and be fired. That's why I said they were
mistreated and would would be available." He said "Now I understand!
Thank you. On a different political front, a member of Congress is
being accused of having an affair, and even fathering a child from
that. He's being asked to resign. What are your thoughts on that?" I
said "More titillation for the public who would do the same things if
they could. Why should the private life of ANYBODY matter to his job,
if he isn't preaching against what he did? While I really dislike
lying, even if he lied about it, he has the right to do that about his
private life. If he has not committed a felony, he shouldn't lose his
job over er, loosening his pants. His job is about legislating, not
about being a moral leader. I mean, what politician can EVER be that?
Sometimes I despair that voters just don't know their butts' from a
hole in the ground. They elect people based on popularity, and not
qualifications, and that popularity is based on how 'just folks' they
are. People elect those who they can relate to, people who are like
them, instead of being better, and then they demand their resignation
when those who they elect actually behave just like the voters do. It's
ridiculous!"
Don said "You've surprised me again. I know you're against adultery
and lying. I didn't expect you to support him." I said "I'm not
supporting anybody. I am against personal attacks used for political
attacks. If a factory worker had an affair, and it became known, would
he be fired?" He said "I see your point. It's unfair. But don't people
have a right to choose who represents them?" I said "They do have the
right to choose who represents their interests, and they exercise that
by voting. They voted in an imperfect person, and they can recall him
if they want to, and replace him with another adulterer. That's the
proper way to do it, not demand that he resign, because those loudest
obnoxious voices may not be ranting about what the majority of his
constituents want to happen. The whole thing isn't just unfair, it's
perpetuated continuously by the voters themselves. ALL people have
flaws. What makes people great is in overcoming them. If an elected
person is doing his job well, which is working for those he represents,
and the country, effectively, he should be allowed to continue doing
it, which is in the best interests of the voters, even if he likes sex
a little too much for some jealous people. And this has happened. Some
members of Congress and the Senate have admitted to affairs, and worse,
and some have been outed as homosexual, but they didn't resign, and
were even reelected, and served their constituents and the country
well. I think you know who some of them are. In fact, if all the gay
Republicans resigned from public office, the Democrats would have an
overwhelming majority, and the Republicans REALLY couldn't live well
with that!" He chuckled, and said, "I can just imagine that."
Don said, "Here is a different case. Sexual assault. She said it
happened, and received a settlement. He said it didn't happen. More
women are coming forward. Who's telling the truth?" I said "I will only
get involved in that situation if the accuser or the accused asks me to
determine their truthfulness. And ONLY if the first victim's case
wasn't exposed by her, because her privacy was harmed by that, and by
being called a liar." Don said "We expected that. She's here. Will you
see her?" I said "Yes." He said "After the break." We went off air, and
she was brought in. We stood, and were introduced. I offered to hug
her. She accepted, and I helped her sit down. Don had some tears. Back
on air, she was introduced. I said "You signed a confidentiality
agreement. Please don't violate it. We can work around it. Ha,
surprised you, didn't I." She smiled. I said "This is an advanced lie
detector. It will glow red if anybody in its range says something they
don't completely believe is true. Now we start. For that which you
received a settlement, your complaint against this man, did you lie
about it?" She smiled again, and said, "I did not lie." I said "Then is
it true that his statement that you are lying, is false?" She said
"Yes, he's wrong." I said "No red glow. For the record, as a test,
please respond incorrectly to a math question. What does 5 plus 2
equal?" She said "Nine." Red glow.
I said "Before the math test, you were truthful. The other person is
either lying, or is mentally disturbed so much that he actually
believes he didn't do anything wrong. In either case, in my opinion, he
should not be trusted to have public office. He should NOT be trying to
destroy, undeservedly so, the reputation of another, to hide from the
record. If he had admitted his past bad actions, and had learned from
them, and had become a better man, and therefore had not denied what
happened and called you a liar, I would have supported him. Now I
oppose him. With his dishonesty and meanness, he has brought this on
himself, and has only himself to blame for it. Now something which
might be unexpected. I reviewed the file of your case as we spoke. I
can decide to make it public. What is your opinion on that?" She said
"Personally, I wouldn't like it. I don't want the embarrassment. But
it's already so much in the public now, there isn't much more harm it
can do me. If you think it should be released, I wouldn't say no, as
long as I don't get into legal trouble for that." I said "I appreciate
and admire your bravery. If he doesn't stop in his bid for office, and
agrees to never try again, I might release it. Otherwise, I probably
won't. But I will say this. What he did to you was a criminal offense,
and he should have been prosecuted, and I suspect you are far from
being his only victim. He has not suffered the full consequences of his
crimes. I suggest to him, that he get busy making amends, and seriously
work toward self improvement, if he doesn't want to feel the pain and
humiliation his victims felt, for the rest of his life." She said
"Thank you for me, and for all of us who he attacked, and for the whole
world for your justice and love." We stood and hugged. Don said "We'll
be right back." She was escorted out, still with tears, but with her
head held high. Len said in the air, "Well done!" Don nodded, with his
own tears. I gave him a tissue.
Back on air, Don said, "I understand more of you, more clearly now.
Lying is the biggest sin." I said "As this case showed, size isn't
everything. It's what you do with it that counts." He almost choked. I
said "What were you thinking? I don't go around comparing the size of
sins. I don't think it's possible. But what we call sins, rarely travel
alone. Lying makes them worse, because it can compound the error, and
prevent us from learning from it, and becoming less likely to repeat
it. And because lying damages the mind, and that damages physical
health. That might not be noticeable right away, but over time, it does
effect us. You can't be true to yourself and God, if you lie to others,
because in doing that, you are also lying to yourself." He said "I see
something. You've said more than once that much in religions are
untrue, and that some in charge of them know that. Does that mean that
many people are believing in lies, and so are not close to God?"
I said "Believing in the lies of others, not knowing they are lies,
is not the same as lying yourself. It does make you wrong, though.
Tragically, yes, it can prevent you from more fully knowing God, which
I have told some of those in power in the religions. Some want to
remove some of those lies, but know that most of their followers would
rather die than give up what they NEED to keep believing is the truth.
Just changing a few words in the Catholic Mass, really upset a lot of
people, who still recite the old words, and will until they die. How
would they react to being told that the Sanhedrin and Pharisees had
nothing to do with the arrest and crucifixion of Jesus? That Pontius
Pilate never personally saw Jesus? He signed the arrest and
condemnation warrant along with a lot of others, and that was it. The
Romans arrested Jesus, and put him in a holding cell with a lot of
other criminals. From there he was dragged out, in a line of chained
together condemned, to be nailed to a cross. He didn't carry it
himself. The Romans would never have let a criminal get hold of
anything that could be used as a weapon. Crucifixion was a punishment
of death by torture. They were VERY careful not to let a prisoner force
a guard to kill him, to avoid that. Jesus was arrested for inciting
riots, although unintentionally, during the most tense and volatile
time of the year for Jews and Jerusalem. The Romans did everything they
could do to prevent riots caused by the natives. Execution was their
favorite and most effective way."
I said "Jesus knew about the arrest warrant, and knew he couldn't
avoid it for long. He arranged to be arrested away from the crowds, so
it wouldn't cause another riot, by asking his people to contact the
Romans and tell them where he would be for that, after the Seder. All
refused to do the will of Jesus, after Peter told them not to, denying
him, but the man most close to him, Judas, who had to obey his friend
and master, even though it tore his heart. Jesus went to his death
willingly, to protect his people, the Jews of Jerusalem and Judea, from
being massacred by the Romans in the uprising that he would cause, just
by being who he was, which eventually happened, anyway. He was a TRUE
hero! All should know that! His people loved him. I know. I was one of
them. I was there. I died not long after that, stoned to death for
supporting his words. Actually, I was an arrogant loudmouth bore, and
almost deserved it. So, what would people do with their beliefs, if
those who ruled their religions, told them those truths, which they
know?" He said "Wow! I don't know. Let's go to break."
Len said in the air, "Now you did it!" I said "Sure did. Probably
won't change anything." Don said "What if they ask the Pope? Will he
lie?" I said with a grin, "We'll just have to wait and see. For now,
pick another topic." Back in air, Don said, "Just how accurate IS
history?" I said "History isn't so much about what happened, but what
people wanted others to know about what happened, and popular fantasy.
Betsy Ross didn't make the first American flag. The Liberty Bell was
cracked before it was ever rung, and the crack was made wider, in an
attempt to stop it from becoming worse. The Pilgrims didn't land on
Plymouth Rock, and that rock today isn't what it used to be, and where
it used to be. The leaning tower of Pisa started leaning even before it
was finished, and Galileo didn't drop things off of it to experiment
with gravity. He used inclined tracks made of wood. Those are just some
of the accidental popular wrong things in history. What about things
people feel strongly about, enough to actually change the history
books? The State of Texas has removed slavery as one of the reasons for
the Civil War, in the school books they allow in the schools, and is
close to completely removing references to evolution. There is a lot of
that going on all over."
I said "Do the British have the same view of the American War of
Independence as we do in America? Let's take Josephus, the Jewish Roman
historian. A lot of what he wrote is lost, but there are some
transcriptions, people copying what he wrote, that show over time the
changes they made in what he actually wrote, and he wasn't that
accurate to begin with. It's the same for the Bible. Translations
change. If you actually read the Gospels, you will see that what
happened leading up to the Crucifixion is written so differently, they
actually contradict each other, and if you know anything about human
nature, and about those societies, you would easily see that it's all
false. Things just could NOT have happened as they are described.
Pontius Pilate was one of the most brutal rulers in the whole Roman
Empire. He despised all religions and Priests which weren't Roman, and
would rather have crucified them, than crucify somebody they asked him
to. He probably would have, if he hadn't been recalled to Rome for his
excesses. And he never knew a moment's hesitation as a ruler there.
I've lived a LOT of lives, and seen a lot of history myself. I KNOW how
much isn't true."
I said "In the part of the Bible that I wrote, the numbers are mostly
all wrong. That's because I didn't care. I was less of a mathematician
than I was an historian, and I was far from being one of those, too. To
me it was the stories, and why I wrote them, that mattered. It worked.
My people did go back to the Promised Land. That's ALL it was for. To
convince them to do that. A successful life, that one. A thousand years
from now, will Nixon be a hero, and Kennedy a villain? That depends on
who writes what, and what of that becomes the most popular in time." He
said "I see. Do you think some people are going to be angry for what
you've said today?" I said "Scholars, probably not. They already know
all that. The faithful won't care about what I said, except to call me
a devil, while they accept my love that they know is impossible for the
devil to give, and accept God's healing I bring to them. It's just not
what they 'KNOW', which isn't exactly what that word means. Some will
believe anything they hear, until they hear the next thing. Disregard
all those, and who do we have left? Mostly people who don't care all
that much about it, either way."
Don said "Does the Devil exist?" I said "As a malevolent individual
real being, the Devil doesn't exist. We tempt OURSELVES to do evil, and
don't need a nonexistent supernatural being to do that for us. We all
have the potential for good and evil inside of us. That comes from our
God given free will. Selfishness, jealousy, anger, rage, hate; all
those things tempt us to do and be evil. It's the job, the duty, of all
us to resist that, and become stronger with all the good in us, to
allow us to become closer to God. We don't need books or preachers for
us to do that. We just need to listen to our conscience, and to other
people who do the same, to better ourselves. God DOES speak to ALL of
us, but not in words, and not loudly enough to interfere with our free
will. But if you have the urge to help somebody, a sudden desire to do
something good and charitable, ACT on it, because the part of God that
is in you is telling you that being good is more than just words, it's
actions. One more thing. When you do good, you FEEL good. Some
incentive isn't bad at all." Don said "Thank you, Stephen, for being
with us this evening." I said "I am here to serve." We went off the
air.
Len came into the room, and said, "You might be right. People won't
change what they believe, even if the Pope tells them too. Good to get
on record, though. Still not going to release the files?" I said
"Right. Not going to. Churches can. That they don't, says more than I
could ever say about them." Don said "Wow! And they're going to be
asked more, now." I said "Maybe. Next time, I would appreciate a little
heads up about anything different in the show. This surprise, after I
asked you specifically not to do that, almost caused me to switch to
Fox. And yes, I do talk to them, and that subject was raised. There was
some er, laughter involved." They had really odd expressions, which I
mentioned. They had to chuckle.
Rose said "I was, all of us, actually, wondered when you would say
that in public." Chad said "Well done, too, using the framework of
history." Hawk said "I like the part about what you wrote. It made it
more human to them, that doing that kind of thing has a real purpose,
and that purpose isn't always a bad one." I said "Yes, I had to put
that in." I said to Chad, "I'm sorry that it isn't likely to be as
controversial as you would like." He poked me, and said, "Try harder."
I grinned, and said, "I just might." His cautious look made me laugh.
That made the others laugh, too. And love.
