Stephen's Secure Blog #398
These stories about Stephen began was when he was 10 years old, and
moving to a new part of the country to attend a special school for
gifted students, in the 1950's. This was from a time before computers
would fit on a desk, and when people communicated with friends in other
countries by actual letters sent through the postal service. He wrote
225 of them to a friend. He stopped writing to his penpal, but found he
still wanted to record his life, in case he lost his memory again, and
wrote 30 entries in his first logbook. Then he wrote to an artificial
intelligence called Geenee, in the master computer in his school for
gifted students, which he started attending in 2016. Now it's after
2018, and he's continuing to save his memories in a secure blog.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
The stories may not be posted in chronological order.
Stephen is 20 in this story, in Summer of year 10 of his special school.

It didn't take long. The museums sent me the statement they had
prepared. It covered what happened to me, and that the Van were doing
medical investigations on us in a bad way. I added a few things which
they liked, and then they released it. Len called and said, "The way
you did it means you don't want to discuss it in public?" I said "Did
you call for me to tell you how intelligent you are?" He said "Under
other circumstances that would be amusing." I said "I tried to make it
as unheroic as possible." He said "It wasn't that possible." I said
"I'll only say that what they released was true. I had to tell them
because it was a necessary part of a larger package of information in
their specialties that I gave them to work on. I agreed to let them
release it because I didn't want to myself. Hurts too much. So, no
comments or questions about it. Anybody who does that against my
wishes, likely won't have answers to any further questions." He said
"Can I release that as a statement?" I said "Sure. Wouldn't work as a
sausage." He had to laugh. He said "Sorry, I couldn't help that." I
said "Ha! Good. I like success. That reminds me of a saying. If at
first you don't succeed, wait for it to germinate. Wait! It'll grow on
you." He laughed again. I said "If you want, you can use it on a
politician. Well, they're usually full of organic fertilizer." He
again. He said "Can I have and release a recording of this?" I said
"Alright, if you include all from the moment when I first answered the
phone. On your desk when we hang up." We did that. It didn't include
the comment about politicians.
There was some talk about that statement, but nothing Earth
shattering. Chad was very disappointed. So was I, for him. My movie
director called, and I went to see him. He said "Your life. I want it."
I said "Hey, are we talking murder?" He said "Well, I could say I'm
dying to do it." I said "You could. But you can't have my life. Oh, and
which one?" He said "Yes, there's that. I see the problem. You're going
to have to do it yourself up to your departure, in different versions,
and have your students finish them. Oh, you're doing that. You would,
for the record." I said "There are a lot of things I've done that
involve helping people in big trouble, who are still alive. I won't
violate their privacy without their permission. A lot of my personal
students and foster family were one small step from death before I
rescued them. For instance, one boy was held in psychic bondage as a
sexual slave to a famous movie star. One was whipped and beaten almost
to death in a fundamental Christian village, for not being manly
enough. I rescued him when his executioner was on his way. His uncle!"
I cried. I said "I can't help remembering how his back looked, all
ripped apart. These are things in my last life that make me who I am
now, but I probably can't put them in a biography." He said "Wow!" I
said "I think you need to expand your vocabulary." He said, "Probably."
I told him how I met Dan at summer camp, and he had to laugh. He said
"Right. You couldn't put that in, or prudes would denounce you." I said
"It will still be on record for the future, along with everything
else."
He said "It's hard to imagine, but your writing has improved. The new
Attin books are terrific!" I said "Er, thanks. I suspect you want to do
something with them. Oh, by the way, Chad has been practically
inundated with movie rights requests for them. So, if you really plan
to do them, it would be nice to make that public. Or at least do a
contract so we can say they're already locked up." He said "I'll work
on that." I said "What takes the longest time in production for my kind
of movies?" He said "Dubbing and editing. There is a LOT involved with
those for your movies, more than other kinds." I said "I can do the
dubbing. I've made some historical things, and did the dubbing for
practice. Chad said I did well. I'll leave some of them here, so you
can check them out. Then if it's a go, I can do it for you in seconds,
the same way I do the scoring and foley work." He said "If you can do
that, I can do all the Attin movies in a little less than two years!" I
said "Oh, that's too bad. What will you find to do after that?" He
laughed, and said, "I expect to be offered my choice of projects." I
said "If they want the best, absolutely!"
He was embarrassed. He said "Some directors I know are asking me to
ask you to score for them." I said "Not for release in the same year
that any movie I score for you comes out, and I will do that as long as
you want me to." He understood the reason, and had some not so dry
food? I don't know. Could be interesting if I could, and actually did
it. Elvis all over again!" He chuckled, and said, "Better not, or
people won't believe you're gone. Not that they will, anyway." I said
"I might have a plan for that. When I think it could happen, I'll have
a news crew there, and with glasses and lenses that can see auras. My
dead and rotting body won't have an aura. Right. No spirit, no aura.
Then my people will burn it to ashes right on the spot. Anyway, that
will be out of my er, hands." He said "I feel ghoulish talking about
it." I said "Hungarian?" He laughed at the pun. I said "I'll feel
really bad for all the other newsmakers when I go."
He said "Right. They won't be able to get a scandal in edgewise. I'm
sure your people will have something ready for that." I said "We've
discussed it. I wonder if I'll approve, when I can't do anything about
it." He said "You won't be able to talk to them?" I said "I might, the
first few minutes to a month or two after I kick off, but it's expected
that I'll be on the fast track, and might go too far out of touch in a
hurry. They don't really need me. Like in my last life, I'm too
powerful, more than them by many orders of magnitude. Just being here,
I hold them back. They will find out they didn't really need me, even
though they don't want to believe it." He said "They can do everything
you can do?" I said "In abilities, yes, except what involves time
control, and one odd thing involving another dimension they don't need.
What they won't have is my degree of intelligence and speed of thought,
and my artistic ability. But they will still be super geniuses, so they
can still make really good decisions. Which they're doing, actually.
I'm mostly just doing the things only I can do, such as time research,
and er, messing with religions." He said "Good."
He said "I love you." I said "We should all love each other, so
that's great. You know I love you." We hugged with love. He was
dripping tears when I ported out.
I toured my universities in Tibet, greeting the new and old returning
students and staff. They appreciated it. It was a good time for me.
Part of that was because I let them drag me into some music rooms for
impromptu teaching and jam sessions. The heads of the music departments
thanked me a lot for my programs on music, and said they planned to use
them in their teaching. The art departments, too. And the art school. I
surprised them one day, by sitting in the atrium one morning. We did a
lot of laughing and hugging. My Monk student is teaching there part
time, when he isn't doing that at the Monastery.
I made the rounds of the Monasteries and Temples, too. Reting kissed
my face almost off. Then Srinoy came to me and said, "There is somebody
you should see. Please connect and follow my viewpoint." I did, and
said, "Why isn't she in DC?" He said "She won't leave her brother. He's
there." I examined him. I said "That's a problem. He has no noticeable
potential, but at that age, it's not too late. Rose was shocked open at
eleven. Have you tried alignment with stimulation?" He said "At that
age, I was afraid to risk it." I said "What of her parents?" He said
"That's part of the problem. They're dead." I said "Other relatives?"
He said "None known." I said "He could enter a Monastery. They would
have to separate then." He said "She knows that, but is still unwilling
to let him go." I said "I'll talk to her." He said "I knew that." We
hugged.
I used his office. He brought her in, and left, but he monitored. She
was very much in awe of me. I said to her, "You have a younger brother.
How are you taking care of him?" She was overly polite, but I'm not
writing that. She said "I beg on the streets." I said "And where do you
live?" She said "In different places where we can until we are made to
move." I said "It's getting colder. Will you be able to live that way
in the middle of winter?" She said "I don't know, but we must." I said
"A Monastery could take you and your brother in." She said "But we
would be separated. No!" I said, very gently, "So will death cause that
in the cold. That will be the end, but in the Monastery, it will be
only for a short time. You could still see each other every few weeks."
She said "I won't leave him!" I said "But you will someday. When he
marries, will you sleep in his bed?" She obviously had never thought of
that. I said "How can he go to school, if you must be with him all the
time? How can he take care of his family if he is not educated? Tibet
is changing. Education is the key to a good future here. How can he
learn to be a MAN, if his sister, a woman, won't leave his side? If we
truly love another, we must do what is best for those we love, and not
what we want for us. I think you know that." She cried. I held my arms
out to her, and she came into them for me to hug her with all my love.
I said "Tell me about your parents, and uncles and aunts." She did,
and with my strange questions, I felt there could be some psionics in
her family. I said "There is something I want to try. I've done this
before. It's a special psychic adjustment thing we do a lot, but I
would do something a little extra in it, which can help some people
who's abilities are blocked. I want to try this with your brother. It
won't cause any harm. Will you let me?" She said "I know you speak the
truth. Yes, please." I said "I can't promise good results. Sometimes it
takes a few tries before any difference is noticed, and sometimes it
never works. You can watch, but there isn't much to see. Here he is
now. Please explain it to him." She did, and well. I asked him to lie
down, and I aligned his chakras. When I got to the Third Eye, I added
some special energy, and there was a small response. I told her that,
and said, "But it's not nearly enough. I can't be here very often to do
it for him, and you won't come to my school to learn how to do it
yourself. Yes, you have the ability to do it, and very much more, if
you learn. And then you will be able to help a great many people. I
know how really good that feels, because I do it quite a lot." She
nodded. I said "We have only one other from Tibet in my school, a girl.
It would be a great thing for Tibet if we had another." She said "Yes.
Please wait a moment." She took her brother out and left him with
Srinoy.
She came back in and said, "He will go to a Monastery. You choose. I
will go to the school." I said "There is something I didn't tell you,
because I didn't want to cause you to decide for the wrong reasons.
When you learn some things in my school, you will be able to visit with
your brother anytime you want to." She stared at me in awe and wonder.
She said "Will I ever be as wise as you?" I said "It is not possible to
know now, but I can say you have made a very good start!" We hugged
some more. I said "Sera is special to me. So are you and your brother.
They will take VERY good care of him, knowing that. And the Regent, who
is an Abbot there, will know this, and that you are very special and
are going to my school. I want only what is best for you and your
brother, which is also best for Tibet. Now you should go to Srinoy, who
knows what has been said here. I have two babies at home who need
taking care of. It wouldn't be fair to make my wife do all the work. I
see you know that. I'm not surprised. I hope they grow up to be as wise
and caring as you are. Now I go. May Buddha bless you and your
brother." She left, and I ported home.
Rose said "Like I expected, well done!" I said "Thanks, but I've had
practice. You and Cress, remember?" She said "Yes. Different, though.
They are alone." I said "The best part, is not any more!" We cried for
them in sadness for the lives they had led, and in happiness for their
future lives. And we shared love.
