Stephen's Secure Blog #366
These stories about Stephen began was when he was 10 years old, and
moving to a new part of the country to attend a special school for
gifted students, in the 1950's. This was from a time before computers
would fit on a desk, and when people communicated with friends in other
countries by actual letters sent through the postal service. He wrote
225 of them to a friend. He stopped writing to his penpal, but found he
still wanted to record his life, in case he lost his memory again, and
wrote 30 entries in his first logbook. Then he wrote to an artificial
intelligence called Geenee, in the master computer in his school for
gifted students, which he started attending in 2016. Now it's after
2018, and he's continuing to save his memories in a secure blog.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
The stories may not be posted in chronological order.
Stephen is 18 in this story, in Winter of year 9 of his special school.

I said to the group, which was, besides me, Rose, Hawk, Ichi, Chad,
and Pete, "Rose and I are going to scan the Earth for programmed Van
psi hunters. We've practiced this, so we expect it to be safe for all
concerned. Hawk will connect and watch. Ichi will monitor the area of
the target when we find one, and secure it. Pete, your job is to watch
for public reaction, and to correct it if possible. Chad, you keep us
grounded with love. All of you, grab any assistant and assistance you
need, when you need it. We intend to save any useful memories, but
neither of us want to be involved in any action which comes from them."
They nodded agreement. I said "Ready?" They were.
Four hours later, we stopped. I said "Those pesky critters sure were
busy!" Rose said "Some of them weren't psi hunters, but government
influencers and bankers." Pete said, "So it wasn't just politics and
greed that caused recession and depressions." I said "Oh it was,
definitely, or the Van couldn't have succeeded. They just helped spark
it with some fancy ideas about procedures and tactics. People didn't
have to use them. Even with the possessed er, unpossessed, I don't
expect any of that to change. Even though most of the psi hunters were
in prison, there will probably be a few less murders, now." Rose said
"And those in prison will help solve some open cases." Ichi said "What
about the fact that they didn't chose to kill people?" I said "John
didn't kill many people, and when he did, it was when he was younger.
All the possessed who are in prison now, while they didn't choose to
commit some of their crimes, they did commit some of them on their own.
They accepted their programming, and voluntarily cooperated with it,
and it became who they really were. I think that was what the Van
intended, and that John was an exception." Pete said, "What about other
planets?" I said "I'll check." A few minutes later, I said, "Two
things. Of the worlds the Van knew, there aren't now any programmed
people. And their records say they failed in their attempts to do that.
It only worked on humans. Wow! Their list of possessed is really
something!" I ported in a stack of records, and put the aggregate in a
crystal. They passed it around.
Rose said "I would have expected Hitler to be on the list, but he
wasn't." I said "I think he would have been, with his power of
projection, but because he was doing what they wanted, without even
being asked, they let him alone. Until he lost. I don't know if his
suicide was completely his own idea, and I don't care to find out."
Hawk said "Mao is on the list." Rose said "No big surprise there!" I
said "Pol Pot, too." Rose yelled, "I don't believe it!" Hawk poked her,
and said, "That bad?" She said "Look at this!" He did, and said, "Wow!"
I said "That has to be a secret. We can't ever expose that." Rose said
"Right. YOU can't, and so we shouldn't." Hawk said, "Chad would want
to." I said "We'll just have to keep him distracted." Hawk said "He can
squirt only so much." We laughed. Chad said, "Hey you guys! I'm right
here, you know." I said "Oh. So, we'd better get to work!" We laughed,
and did just that.
The January 1st love broadcast had healing, too, and I sensed that
some people did try to find the love from God in it, and succeeded. I
said that to Len and Don, before the usual week after event, interview.
Don started it on air, with that, saying, "In your last interview, you
said that people could try to find God coming into your love broadcast,
and His love, separate from yours. We have many reports from people who
did it, and succeeded." I nodded, and said, "I felt it, and was and am
very happy for them, that they could experience God's love for real.
There is absolutely nothing in the universe like it." Don, cleared his
throat, and said, "Er, have you ever felt your own love?" I said "No,
I've never felt my love as others feel it. I can't." He said "Well,
take it from me, and all of us who have felt it, it IS like God's love.
Different somehow, but very much alike." I said "Oh." He said "I've
embarrassed you." I said "And that didn't help." He laughed, and said,
"Good." I said "Ha!" He laughed some more.
Don said "I have a question that I think many have, but would be
afraid to ask you. Humanity is divided into different racial and ethnic
groups. Is one race or group, better than another?" I said "Are you
sure you want to know? This could upset some pet apple-carts, when
apples are in season." He said "I'm not sure, but the question is
asked, and some would think that a non answer could be worse than any
true answer." I said "Alright, you will have it. Yes, there are races
and groups that are better than others. Er, I suggest you close your
hanging open mouth, before something flies into it."
He said "Explain!" I said "I'll start with race. The differences
between the human races are much more than skin deep. Ask any
anthropologist. This is due to natural selection, which is the engine
that runs evolution. We have adapted to our different original
environments more than is commonly believed. The native diet of an
Inuit, also called Eskimo, would make an Italian very sick over time.
It is the same for the reverse. Native Australians can go without food
and water longer than any other people, if they had experienced plenty
for a few months before that. Which people most often win marathons?
Those of Kenya. Those of Nepalese, Tibetan, and some of high Andean
decent, can withstand higher altitudes better than any other people.
This should illustrate that there are many biological differences
between the races and ethnic peoples, and if you place one of those
differences higher in importance than another, then the race which has
that feature is better. But those differences are a general attribute.
Individuals in any category will vary in the degree of those general
differences."
I said "But all that, while true, isn't what you REALLY mean, is it?"
He said "I see. Yes. Some possible differences are more important than
others for most people." I said "Yes, but we must also separate out
social and environmental influences on development and behavior, in
this comparison." He said "Yes, that's reasonable." I said "So, ask for
what you really want to know." He said "Intelligence." I said "Keep
going." He said "Moral character. Industriousness. Family values.
Athleticism. I think that's it, for now." I said "Biologically, all are
in equal range." He said "Can you explain what you mean by range?" I
said "Yes. As individuals within a group, we are not equal in almost
anything, if we measure very closely. Intelligence tests show that.
There are the very challenged, and the very gifted, and all between
those extremes. But taken as a whole for each race, and compared, all
races are the same. I know something about geniuses. I've studied them
more than anybody in history. They are equally distributed by
population, and race."
He said "In the past, brain size was related to intelligence, and
that whites were said to have the biggest brains." I grinned, and said,
"Measured only by whites." He laughed. I said "And using little seeds
poured into empty skulls. Over time, they absorbed moisture from sweaty
palms, and so less would fit in subsequently measured skulls. Guess
which were always measured first?" He said "Whites!" And he laughed
some more. I said "Ready for another laugh?" He nodded. I said "That
practice went out of favor, very rapidly, when it was found that the
brain area in neanderthals was bigger than modern humans." He did
laugh. Then he said, "Do you know why?" I said "Measuring brain area
inside empty sculls, doesn't just measure the size of the brain. It
also includes the dura matter which covers and cushions the brain, and
that can vary very much in thickness, and the cushioning fluid, and the
blood vessels, and the nerves from the brain itself. And one more
thing. Those small differences in brain size don't indicate
intelligence, which is really caused by the complexity and efficiency
of the brain." He said "I think that question is settled here." I said
"Each race and ethnic group, is equal to any other, in what we value
the most, and in both directions. The worst and the best of us, can be
found in all groups, and so can all varieties in between. And one more
thing. We are ALL equal, before God!"
Don said "This is a touchy subject, but it's related. The Jews are
said to be the chosen people. What is your opinion on that?" I said
"Look at their history. Would you want to be chosen for THAT?" He said
"I see what you mean." I said "God values us as individuals, and groups
are made of individuals. However, we don't know what his plans are for
us, and how they might be accomplished, and by which person or group.
Only time will tell how it all works out. I expect it to be very
interesting." We broke for a break. Don said "You had me going there,
for a minute." I said "Right. Sure got your attention." He said
"Absolutely! And then you shot the feet out from racial supremacists at
every turn. Well done!" I said "Er, thank you, but I only said the
truth. I did specifically shoot some things on purpose though. And I'm
not finished."
Then we came back on air. I said "I have one more thing to say about
racial and group differences. I like them. Actually, I love them. All
the differences in abilities in individuals and groups, and all the
different ways they have to live their lives and and build and maintain
their societies, are VERY interesting to me, and I think it's critical
to our survival as a species. Times change. There will be new
technologies and inventions. There will be problems we don't even know
about now. Our diversity could be the only thing that saves us, because
we don't know what we will face in the future, and what aspect of which
society, will help us survive the most, and which group who does that
the best, probably purely by accident, will help us the most to do
that. For example, who knows which individuals and groups will be more
resistant to the new diseases that might evolve to plague us? We NEED
human diversity, to survive into the future. Our differences aren't
just very interesting, but are absolutely necessary to our continued
existence."
Don said "Wow! I never thought of that. Thank you for your insight.
We have time for one more question, I hope. Did ancient alien
astronauts help humans build some of the amazing structures we know
about, such as the pyramids?" I said "There are problems with that.
Scientists study the past with measurements and other observations, and
then try to draw conclusions from that evidence. Unfortunately, a lot
of the past is not available to study, and what there is, doesn't come
ready made with explanations. More unfortunately, there is a lot of
guesswork involved. The problem with that, is bias." Don said, "Like
the European explorers who couldn't believe that the brown and black
peoples they found, could have had a civilization and built great
things in the past?" I said "Not only that, they didn't believe the
true reports of so called natives actually living in big cities, before
they were destroyed by the invaders. The Amazon basin was full of such
cities, but by the time actual scientists got to the area, they were
all gone. Covered over by the fast growing jungle. Disease brought by
the Europeans had wiped out the people."
I said "In what we call modern humans, there has been no change in
levels of intelligence in the past 70,000 years. Call them stupid, and
you call yourselves stupid, and that's, er, stupid." He chuckled. I
said "There are other issues, such as climate changes. The Sahara used
to be green and fertile. Consider what the ice ages might have
destroyed. Could high tech civilizations of our own ancestors have left
evidence that is still under a glacier, or under the ocean? And there
were earthquakes and tsunamis, and volcanoes. Astroid strikes, too. Now
we add one more thing into the mix. Researchers can only come to
conclusions that they can imagine, and most good ones didn't have great
imaginations. Then there is this. What if a technology was not of
machines, but of the mind?"
Don was surprised, and said, "I didn't think of that! We have to,
now, because that's just what you have, and you've said it existed in
the past. It wouldn't leave physical evidence." I said "I recently
tested a technique where ordinary psychic Adapts, such as the priests
of ancient times, could join their minds together to create a large
telekinetic energy pool, and move and lift gigantic blocks of stone. If
you add the energy of thousands of worshipers to that, they could do
really amazing things, which they did. Do you know how to shape large
stones so they will fit perfectly against one another? You lift them
into the air, and rub them against each other, very forcibly. It
doesn't take all that much time to achieve good results." He said
"That's amazing!" I said "One more thing about that. Our modern world
is based on iron. We couldn't have most of what we do now, without it.
Mental science doesn't work well with iron, and other magnetic
materials." He said "Oh! That could explain more things."
I said "And there is the other end of the issue. WHY would ancient
astronauts build anything for primitive humans?" He said "I don't
know." I said "Neither did they, so they didn't. Any people who are
advanced enough to travel around the galaxy, REALLY knows what they are
doing. If they are here to study things, and us, wouldn't they want to
avoid changing us, and ruin their study?" He said "That does make
sense." I said "Some might think they wanted us to worship them as
Gods. Well, do modern humans do that to what we call primitive people?
No, except in rare occasions when they wanted something they had. Space
ships must be too expensive and take too long to travel, to support
that on a different planet, unless they work to take the whole planet
over in a full invasion and occupation."
I said, "That didn't happen here. However, they could have taken some
humans as samples or slaves, if they wanted to. To all those so called
experts who believe with a certainty that alien astronauts visited
ancient humans in the open, and built things for them, I say that all
the unreal evidence you point to, makes you into false thinkers. You
say this and that HAS to be evidence of the aliens. Bad logic. That is
only one possible explanation, and just because you can't think of
another, doesn't make you right, it just makes you a poor thinker, and
a deliberate purveyor of junk science for profit. I've examined what
you put forward as evidence. You are completely wrong. Our ancestors
were just as intelligent as we are now, but they DID think differently.
REALLY different, so you can't judge their artifacts and art in the
same way you would judge ours, and I'm not guessing. I lived through
those times. Aliens didn't build our greatest works, WE did, and we
should be as proud of them as we are about our current great works."
Don said "I think we've learned a lot today. Thank you, Stephen, very
much." I said "Thank you for letting me be a teacher." Then we were off
the air, and Len rushed in, and said, "Great work!" I said to Don, "I
think he likes it." They laughed. Len said "You're becoming more, er,
assertive." I said "Oh? I was thinking, more like bombastic." They
laughed. I said "I suppose you want to know why. You don't give me much
time to get my points across, and pithy sound bytes travel further and
last longer. And one more thing. I'm REALLY opposed to those who's lies
I'm trying to counter. Their intent is bad enough, but lying? That I
just can't stand." Don said, "I'm with you on that!" Len said to Don,
"We should mention that, in the follow on discussions. Yes, Stephen, we
discuss what you say." I said "Well, you're supposed to. Why else would
I do this?" We hugged with love.
Hawk said "You really blasted them! 'A poor thinker, and a deliberate
purveyor of junk science for profit' is really precious!" Pete said "I
agree, but you could get sued." I said "Good. More opportunities to
prove I'm right." Chad said "Stephen, the psychic Adept, fighter for
good science!" Rose poked him, which surprised us all. Ichi said "I
think it's good for both, Stephen's image, and for science. Ah! A
reprieve from being poked." We laughed
