Stephen's Secure Blog #292
These stories about Stephen began was when he was 10 years old, and
moving to a new part of the country to attend a special school for
gifted students, in the 1950's. This was from a time before computers
would fit on a desk, and when people communicated with friends in other
countries by actual letters sent through the postal service. He wrote
225 of them to a friend. He stopped writing to his penpal, but found he
still wanted to record his life, in case he lost his memory again, and
wrote 30 entries in his first logbook. Then he wrote to an artificial
intelligence called Geenee, in the master computer in his school for
gifted students, which he started attending in 2016. Now it's after
2018, and he's continuing to save his memories in a secure blog.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
The stories may not be posted in chronological order.
Stephen is 17 in this story, in spring of year 7 of his special school.
Stephen's Secure Blog #292 "CNN in My House"
START Page
Back at my house, I asked the Lieutenant if he wanted to stay and
sleep there, or be sent someplace else. He opted to be sent home to his
wife. Rhamcha wanted to stay as long as we were awake. I said to the
crew, "I made the studio room for you to use for question and answer
sessions, after the day's events, if you wanted to. Interviews, too.
You can also use it to do some in the field editing in support of
breaking news, should any happen while you are here." Len said "I don't
think in the history of CNN, has one of our crews been treated so well,
said "I do have some questions." We went to the studio. They set up the
lights, and the sound man was very happy about the equipment and its
quality. He and Don stepped out of the room to confer. I said to
Rhamcha, so everybody could hear, "I told them about my sensitive
hearing. I think they forgot." He grinned. The others thought it was
funny, too. When they came back in, I said "If you want to have a
private conversation, you would do better to close yourselves up in a
bathroom, with the water running. Remember my sensitive hearing." They
were embarrassed.
They asked me to sit under the lights, and so did Don. He asked, "Was
everything Eli said, true?" I grinned, and said, "If you can't believe
him, you can't believe me, so why ask?" He looked confused. I said "Do
you think I would let anybody get away with lying in my presence,
especially about ME?" He said "Oh. I didn't think about that." I said
"Even people who know me and are able to lie, know not to do that. I do
not support ANY lies from anybody, and very actively discourage them.
If such people try to cause harm with lies, or lie to me when I ask
them important questions, I will cause them to not be able to lie for
the rest of their lives. You spoke with somebody today who I did that
too. Unlike most, he is glad I did it." He said "Can you do that to
anybody you want to?" I said "It is not a matter of want. I don't want
to do anything to anybody. But, I must do what is just. No more, no
less. I don't have a choice. I can only be who I am, and that requires
me to be just. In love, I can no else."
He said "In love? You do this because of love?" I said "Did your
parents love you?" He said "Yes, very much." I said "Did they deny you
some pleasures, and discipline you, when it was ultimately for your
benefit?" He said "Yes. I see what you are trying to say. Love made
them do it, even though it hurt them. It hurts YOU. I'm very sorry for
making you feel bad." I wiped my tears. I said "Usually, when I do what
I described, I ask the people who are then unable to lie, if what I did
was just. In telling the truth, as they must, they all have said it was
just." Rhamcha said, "I have seen that, and have had others who have
seen that, tell me the same." I said "I am fallible, as all men are.
Therefore, I seek confirmation of important actions, sometimes before I
do them."
Don said "Eli said he is not able to lie. Is that true for all your
students?" I said "My students at the beginning, are able to lie,
because they were not my students the second before they became mine.
In their training, they find that lying, because it creates faults in
the mind, impedes their progress. They can feel it happening. That is
extremely effective motivation to not lie. Part of the training helps
them to build a block to that, to make it easier, so they don't have to
remember not to lie. After some more advancement, they realize that if
they do lie, it will cause them to actually lose some abilities, and
make others unreliable. Further advancement takes even that choice
away. Lying is just not a part of who they are. So is acting unjustly.
Clear minded people, in order to remain clear minded, cannot act
unjustly against another. And they cannot kill. If they cause
somebody's death, even by direct accident, they will be so damaged,
they might die themselves. For certain, they would not be able to use
the ability that caused the death, and it will probably rebound on
them. We don't know how serious the problem would be, because none of
my students have ever killed anybody. This also applies to those who do
have some of the abilities that I have, who are not my students, such
as Rhamcha was, and many other people in Tibet, which includes most of
the higher level Monks." Rhamcha said "That is true. I have not lied in
thirty years, and have not harmed any person in any way." I said
"Please remember, much of what I do, and who I am, has its source here
in Tibet. I have just made it more scientific, and extended it with
better training."
I said "One more thing. I do not punish. I stop harmful actions,
prevent recurrences, and educate. In making some people be unable to
lie, well, how bad is that really, being that is how I and my students
live?" Don said "I didn't think of it that way. I should have. Thank
you." They didn't have any more questions then, so we wrapped it up for
the night, and I ported Rhamcha home.
In the morning, they all came down to watch me work out. After a
little while, said, "You're only exercising your eyes. What about the
rest of you? Healthy living isn't compatible with laziness. You can
start with a run around the perimeter of the gym. Oh, do you need me to
chase you?" I did that, and they laughed and ran from me. Len was the
slowest, but also the oldest. After they had enough, I said "You can
lift weights, too. That doesn't mean waiting around for a lift." They
groaned. I showed them how. I said "It isn't how much you can lift at
once, but how often, without hurting yourself, which makes you stronger
and more fit. And more desirable for your significant others. Enhances
sex, too. What more motivation do you need?" Then I said, "Swimming is
very good exercise, and has less impact on your joints. Coed swimming
can be a lot of fun. Well, a lot of things can happen under the water
where other people can't see. Unless they are practicing holding their
breath. My girlfriend in my last life, who I eventually married, was
VERY good at holding her breath in the pool parties in summer camp."
Some of them laughed.
Don said, "And in this life?" I said "The woman I'm engaged to, is
also a graduate of my school. She can hold her breath, probably for
eight or ten minutes, but she doesn't have to. That's what that soft
area on the side of the pool is for. Oh, want to go for a swim? The
pool's downstairs, under the gym. Assortment of suits in the locker
room." They all went down, and changed in the locker room. I was
already in the pool when they came out. I said "If anybody needs
lessons, let me know." I swam around, using different strokes. One
asked for help with the breast stroke, and I gave it. When it was time
to get out, I said, "To get dry and clean, walk under the blue light.
It even cleans teeth." They did. Don said, "Why the tickle?" I said "I
originally made them for bathrooms, and wanted something to show it was
working, and to help people wake up in the morning. Should I remove
that feature?" He said "No." I said "That's what EVERYBODY says, mostly
so when it's for other people's use." They laughed.
At breakfast, I said, "One woman, not a student, asked me about the
blue light tickle, if I could make it more er, complete." Don said with
interest, "And your answer?" I said "I said I don't think I should do
that, and take from people the incentive to interact with love with
other people. We need more things to bring us closer, and not further
apart, which we already have too much of." He said "How did she react
to that?" I said "She said, 'You are wise, besides being frustrating.'
She had been after me for sex for a year. I had ignored her advances,
despite being very attracted to her, because her motive was to
manipulate me for political reasons. That she was very attracted to me,
just made it worse for her." He said "Without her bad reason, would you
have had sex with her?" I said "It didn't happen, so I don't know." He
said "Would you tell us who she is?" I said "Did you think I would
actually do that?" He looked embarrassed, and Len laughed.
I said "What we did in the studio last night, you shouldn't air." Don
was surprised, and said, "Why not?" I said "You still don't accept who
I am. Would you have done that to the Dalai Lama or the Pope?" He
looked confused. I said "They are the heads of only their denominations
of their religions. I am viewed as superior to all Buddhists in ALL
denominations. So, in religion, my status is higher than both of them.
To Buddhists, I rank right next to The Buddha, himself, and he's dead,
and I'm not. You show disrespect to me on TV, and your lives might be
in danger. I've had to protect people who have done that. The police
Lieutenant, for example. When he was a sergeant, I had to keep the
crowd away from him, just for calling my passport a fake in public. Ask
him. His men were ready to start shooting people. Until I told them
that I had just removed all the bullets from all the police guns in
Tibet. Later, at the police station, I apologized to the police captain
for that. I see you still don't understand. I gave my love to the
entire world. To each individual person at the same time, which is why
I know all their names when I meet them. Buddhists know that only
somebody who is fully enlightened, such as The Buddha was, could do
that. He would have, if he could have. So would Jesus have. Only I have
done that in the history of the world. And I can do that again and
again, any time I want to. That's a problem, actually. I DO want to,
almost continuously, but that would disrupt things too much." I was
starting to glow then. I said "Er, please excuse me. I get a little
worked up when I talk about love, and the urge to share it starts
pushing at me. The glow should dissipate soon. There is something else.
My personal power is so great, I have to hold it in when I'm with
people, or they would unconsciously obey my slightest wish, unless they
strongly opposed it. I let that power flow naturally, in calming the
crowd." I grinned, and said, "Alright, you can say wow if you need to."
They couldn't. I said to Len, "I made Don speechless again. I really AM
a miracle worker!" He laughed.
In the living room, I ported Rhamcha and the Lieutenant in. We sat,
and Don asked them about what I said. They verified everything, and
more. After that, I said, "Now you have to choose what you want to do
today, and I don't mean just swimming and eating. We can do what we did
here, in any and all of the other major cities in Tibet, or here again,
or travel around the countryside. We can do more aerial surveys. We
have two more days before some event might happen that you will REALLY
want to stay for. I would be in China for that, for a few hours at
most, but I can keep an image of me here at the same time." Don said
"Image? Can you explain that?" I made one, to the side of me. I said
from it, "This is just an image, like a moving hologram. I use this to
ask if I would be welcome to visit some people who might like to shoot
me, in person. I can't be harmed in person, but other people could be
by accident." I stopped the projection.
I said to Rhamcha, "How are you progressing with projection?" He said
"I can make a simple picture last almost a minute." I said "That's
terrific! So soon, is amazing. Care to demonstrate?" He did just that,
but with a picture of me. I said "Er, I think you should have chosen
something else, so they won't think I did it. Anyway, I don't think I
can grin that big." They laughed. Don said, "Thank you for the
demonstration. It really shows something of what the mind can do, with
Stephen's teaching." Rhamcha said, "You're welcome. We learn how to
improve all of who we are. Most of that isn't visible to others, so it
is difficult to demonstrate it. With this skill, I can. Who doesn't
think this is one of the reasons Stephen wanted me here today?" Don
said "I am beginning to see something of how he works. Planning." I
said "Isn't that how we all should work? If you don't prepare for
events, you can't manage them effectively. Another reason I wanted him
here, is that you pay more attention to the clothes, than to the man,
and so you will believe him more than you will believe me." Don looked
surprised, and then very embarrassed. Len grinned his face almost in
half.
I said, "Now I will show you what I did to convince the entire
government of China to do the right thing, after all I did before to
get their attention, didn't work." I showed them Rose's recording,
modified to hide her Adept vision, of what I did in the Great hall,
from the beginning in the ready room, to the meeting with the President
afterward, leaving out my projection visit with the boyfriend, and
orgasms. Don was completely astounded. Len was grinning to split his
face. The Lieutenant was trying not to laugh and gloat. I said to him,
"I don't think I've ever seen that expression before, on anybody." He
laughed.
