Stephen's Secure Blog #264
These stories about Stephen began was when he was 10 years old, and
moving to a new part of the country to attend a special school for
gifted students, in the 1950's. This was from a time before computers
would fit on a desk, and when people communicated with friends in other
countries by actual letters sent through the postal service. He wrote
225 of them to a friend. He stopped writing to his penpal, but found he
still wanted to record his life, in case he lost his memory again, and
wrote 30 entries in his first logbook. Then he wrote to an artificial
intelligence called Geenee, in the master computer in his school for
gifted students, which he started attending in 2016. Now it's after
2018, and he's continuing to save his memories in a secure blog.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
The stories may not be posted in chronological order.
Stephen is 17 in this story, in late Winter of year 7 of his special
school.

I met with the Abbot again, and gave him the crystal. I stayed with
him while he was laughing his head almost off. Then I had an alien
action meeting. I said "Zolnox will be here soon. Guess who's with
him." Percy immediately had a boner. I said to him, "Right." We all
laughed. Rose said "You told the GC their observers would go back on
the next ship." I said "Yes. Should that be changed?" Ichi said
"Absolutely not!" I poked him, and he laughed. I said "So, how will it
happen?" Hawk said "It would be a mess if they used the shuttles. Port
them all?" Pete said, "And reveal we can do that?" Nigel said "Put them
to sleep, and port them to the medium ship, and dock that with the GC
ship. Wake them up and boot their asses into it." I said "From contact
with the Confed, they should know by now that I can port, but I agree
we shouldn't reveal more than we have to. If we let them do the
evacuation, the base commander might make a lot of trouble, and even
threaten to expose their operation to the world. We can't let that
happen, so we will have to do it ourselves. One more thing. Personal
belongings from each room, in one big pile. Minus the contraband. Now
for the next big question. Do we let them take their other things, such
as the equipment? And the database." Rose said "If they insist on the
database, we should let them have it, after we remove references to
Tibet." Nigel said "We could transport the portable equipment
ourselves, if they insist on it." Percy said "I would like us to keep
at least one copy of everything for reference." I said "I agree. If
they strongly object, I can try to duplicate what they won't let us
keep. That means we keep the base operational, but closed?" They
agreed.
When we were able to communicate with them, Ichi attached a 4th
transceiver to their ship's antenna. Nigel, in his usual volunteer job,
said, "I am communicating to you for the Guardians of this system, in
which there is a Restricted World. Please pass on this message to your
Captain. If you need any assistance, please inform us of it. Please
state your reason for visiting this system, so we may allow it. If you
reply, please use minimal power, to maintain security, because our
shielded transponder is very near your ship. We will wait for your
reply." That came immediately, "I will pass on the message. Please
wait." A minute later, another voice said, "I am Captain Zolnox, of GC
Starship mc-2006-5842-mtkj. To whom am I speaking?" Nigel said, "I am
Nigel, presently supervising our comm center. Welcome back." Zolnox
said "Thank you. Interesting times your people have been having in the
galaxy." Nigel said, "Eventful, definitely. Were you informed that we
will be closing down the GC observation station, and allowing you to
transport the personnel back on your ship?" He said "I was. How are we
to manage that?"
Nigel said "We will bring your people, and their personal belongings,
to your ship. We will put them to sleep first, so they won't be able to
object to leaving their illegal drugs behind to be disposed of. The
station will then be closed and sealed, for your later reuse at a
future time. Is that satisfactory?" He said "Can we have the database?"
He said "Yes, we will bring that, too. Unless you would like to
retrieve it yourselves." He said "It would be better if we did that."
Nigel said, "Would Surrhaa be involved with that?" He said "She could
be. Is there a specific reason?" Nigel said "She is very er, popular
among us, and we would like to renew our friendship." Percy said
loudly, "Yes!" Nigel said, "That was Percy." Zolnox laughed. Nigel said
"Ichi and Stephen would express the same, if they were not more in
control of themselves." We all laughed. Zolnox said, "Would some of
your people like to visit us, while we are maneuvering in your system?"
Nigel said, "When would you like to have them?" He said "When it is
convenient for you." Nigel said "They are about to board the ship."
Zolnox said, "Then I look forward to their arrival. Thank you." Nigel
said, "You're welcome. Closing communications."
It was decided that Nigel and Pete would not go, but Rose would join
Percy, Ichi, and me, for the trip. We went in the usual small ship,
from our Belize island center. I wore my blue uniform, but with
Guardian gear. In the conference room, Zolnox said to me, "You look
more different from what you were when we last met, than I think is
usual for yours species." Rose said "There is very little that is usual
about him." I said to her with a grin, "It's not that little." She and
Surrhaa laughed. I said "It happened, and not by my choice. It's not
important. What IS important, is that the Confed and the GC exist
together peacefully." He said "I agree, and they do. There are some
rumors that there were many times where that was no so, that you, er,
corrected." I said "There was a need, and we were available, so we
helped. It was interesting to see how many times they could try to
start a war, without actually meaning to." He laughed and said, "That
bad?" I said "Oh yes! We had to do some things to them which they
thought were bad, but we didn't actually harm anybody. I'm not sure the
Van would think that, though." He said, "I heard about that. They were
worse than we knew. I'm very glad they won't hurt anybody ever again."
I said "We had to blockade their planet in a hurry, ahead of schedule,
so the Confed couldn't contact them, and draw the Van to their
homeworld. The Van would have taken them over as the perfect hosts. We
knew the Confed wouldn't believe that, and they didn't. The Captain of
the ship which tried to visit the Van world was VERY frustrated." He
laughed.
Rose said to Surrhaa, "Have you been in contact with Hoechess
recently?" She grinned and said, "Yes I have, and she had a lot to say
about you and your people." I grinned and said, "That must have been
VERY interesting for you." She laughed. I said "Did she mention
something of her frustration with something about me?" She laughed so
hard, she almost fell off her chair. I said "You should know, of your
species, that applies only to her." She purred, "I am VERY glad to hear
that." I said "I extend to you my, er happiness." She laughed some
more. Zolnox finally figured out what we were talking about, and
laughed.
Then he said, "I was surprised you used a spaceship to visit us. I've
heard that you don't need them." I said "I am not responsible for what
you heard, or what people say. I have heard that part of me is so big,
they could hang flags on it. Despite my concern, I did not have the
opportunity to ask how they would be attached." They all laughed at
that. Rose said "Now there are going to be a lot of sales transactions
involving flags." More laughter. Zolnox said to me, "Have you really
retired from public life?" I said "As I said to the Council, yes. On
Earth, I have become very public, with my art and performances." He
said "What kind of performances?" I said "I think the those involving
music, other species might not like." I said to Rose, "Do you think
Mongolia?" She nodded, and projected and described my demonstration at
the festival in Mongolia. I translated. They were impressed.
Zolnox asked, "Should I assume that you are the most skilled at
that?" I said "No, but I am, because, unlike the other performers, I
actually lived that life of many hundreds of years ago. I grew up
learning all that as a mater of survival, and made my own weapons. I
died just before I would have been 18 years old." I nodded, and said,
"Yes, reincarnation. I remember my past lives, going back 74,000 years,
to just before the people who became the Van, left the Earth." He said
"Wow!" I said "Zander was very happy to know that part of the history
of the Van, being an historian. I told him about that, in my last life,
when we first met." He said "You are full of surprises!" Hawk said
"What he is full of, mostly depends on what he eats." I said to him,
"That wasn't as funny as you hoped it would be." He said "That's
because they don't know what you eat." A little laughter. I said "Not
quite there yet." He said "Oh well, I can't beat your flag pole." I
grinned at him, and he said, "I don't think I meant that, exactly." We
laughed. Percy said, "If you can't make the humor, you can at least BE
the humor." Hawk said "I can raise a flag to that." He covered his
mouth, and we laughed.
We talked some more. When it was time to leave, I said, "When you are
ready for your people, let us know. To make that easier, Percy can stay
with you. I know he would like to inspect the engine room again, to see
how things are working." We all knew what I really meant, and Percy and
Surrhaa were very happy at the arrangement. What wasn't discussed then,
was that Surrhaa knew we could port, and that Percy planned to ask her
if the rest of us could trade places with him at times, including Rose.
In the week the ship was in the system, that's what we did, and in
groups, too. We all enjoyed it very much, Surrhaa the most, because
there was nobody else on the ship she wanted to have sex with, and she
is one hot lady! No flags were hung, but we did our best to present the
opportunity for their display, as often as we could.
When they were ready for the people transfer, we put them to sleep,
and then ported them to the cargo bay of the medium ship, and their
belongings stuffed into large boxes. We docked to their ship, and their
people came onboard and carried all the sleepers and boxes off our ship
and onto theirs. Then we let the sleepers wake. The Doctor came to me
and said, "I could find no evidence of what had made them sleep." I
said "Good." He had to give a frustrated smile to my grin. Then we met
the Captain and his officers at the station, when they came down in a
shuttle. We toured the place. He said "They were NOT ready for
inspection." I said "This wasn't a pleasant place to be for them. After
your last visit, we wouldn't even let them outside to any distance from
the station. They were bored and frustrated, and did NOT like being
here on this horrible to them planet." He said "I realize that, but
this is not what I expected." I said "We don't have any problem with
how much of your property you want to remove, but we would like to have
at least one example of each item remain, so this station can be used
again, if we allow it, and as a kind of museum. It will not be
available or known to the general population of Earth. We support the
Restricted Status." He said "Good reasoning. We will take what we can
accept, but do as you request, and leave it operational. We don't have
room for all the shuttles or sleds, anyway. We will copy the database.
That should take a day and a half, to two days, unattended." His people
went to work loading his ship. They made a lot of trips doing that, for
four days. We weren't there, but watched with the 4th. Everything went
as planned.
Before they left, we had a meeting on their ship. Zolnox said, "The
station personnel are pleased to be going home, but are not so pleased
with what they think might happen to them there." Hawk laughed. We
poked him. Zolnox said, "Will you tell me if you can really teleport?"
I said "Why is that so much of interest to you?" He looked surprised,
and said, "I don't actually know." I said "We destroyed what the Van
had of their stolen technology, but what you know of us should tell you
we wouldn't do that unless we understood it. We don't destroy
knowledge." He said "So you have matter transmission." I said "We
actually had it before we ever encountered theirs. Happy now?" He said
with a grin, "Not completely." I said "You know I'm not surprised at
that." He laughed. He said, "There was mention of a sale of a Van
ship." I said "There was. That is changed. We have a lot of them now,
but we still don't need them. Oh what can we ever DO with them?" I
looked thoughtful. He laughed, and said, "Sell them, of course." I said
"That desire is changed, too. We found other ways to make money, so
that will go to fund schools and other charities. Where do you want
them?" He said "Where are they now?" I said "In different convenient
places, but that's irrelevant. They will be where they need to be, when
they need to be." He looked a little frustrated. He said, "If they can
be in orbit around the sixth planet of Zichesshich when we arrive
there, I can start finding buyers for them." I said "What kind of claim
beacons should they have on them?" We discussed it some more, and made
the arrangements. Hassan would have them there when specified, cleaned
of advanced tech, and the money would go into the trust account we had
there. We all said our farewells, and they left the system.
At the followup meeting, I asked, "Any questions about telling them
about matter transmission?" Ichi said "No. You didn't tell him anything
he couldn't figure out by himself. But giving him that transceiver was
funny." I said "Well, he lost the other one I gave him last time." Hawk
said, "He was very interested in the unlimited range aspect." Rose said
"I don't mind if he's frustrated." Nigel said, "Oh Stephen, is he going
to lose that one, too?" Ichi looked at me in surprise, and Pete
laughed. I said like I was innocent, "Why ask me?" They all piled on
me, poking and tickling me, and that led to a very good group sexplay.
They laughed.
