There was a poster here in The Fort when I first discovered it, years
ago now. His name was Ninja. He was a learned man and became my
'Father' in the world of boylove. I met him in real life and we did
some charity work for children together. Anyway, he had a philosophy
about boylove that I adopted, and improved upon, that has really
worked for me.
First he told me that there is a biological reason for boylovers to
exist. That reason is to love and nurture boys whose fathers have
either died, or moved on. It makes sense. The boys who respond most
viscerally to me are those who have no man in their lives. I'm sure
your experiences are very similar.
The next thing he told me was that for a boy-man relationship to work,
it had to be about the boy, not about the man. I adapted this thesis
and poured my sexual energy into being about the boy(s) in my life.
This has worked out extremely well for me and even better for the boys
that I have claimed as my 'loved boys'.
Subverting your own sexual desire is a difficult and selfless task.
But a sexual relationship with a boy is saturated in danger for both
involved. We BLs know how to take care of business without involving
the boy we love. Most of the time, a sexual relationship with a boy is
NOT in his best interest. Even if his biology is telling him 'Go!' his
mind will be confused. We must respect and treasure his innocence.
