Hi Victor
You raise some interesting and valid points, in truth a certain amount of
discretion is preferable if only to keep the google groupers guessing as
they only see text posts anyhow.
Any one for PGP!!!
That said the level of protection regarding my posts is minimal and could
never be expected to defeat or deflect scrutiny except the casual or
accidental observer,
And the risks escalate progressively regarding content and potential
authorship
In days past most folks had a clear understanding of what was deemed
K/porn, but these days the boundaries have been moved and blurred into
the realms of uncertainty.
I take the view that groups are watched and post is examined and LEA
decides the content of the post regarding the merits for pursuit of the
poster, against any difficulty of tracking down the poster i.e. is the
pain worth the gain.
