Both, actually. The face triggered a faint memory, and the
mention of (John Amos) triggered another, which led me to

Eventually, Mnemosyne took pity on me, and "Beastmaster"
came floating up from the depths: one of those films that
get rather low numerical ratings, but everyone knows, and
most people will admit to recalling "from childhood".
