Anyone who thinks it is religious discrimination to deny federal
contracts to bigots is not worth arguing with about it.
Shove them out of line and make room for clinics and adption agencies
that follow the law, not the bible, which has nothing to do with
government, and never should.
It doesn't matter WHY they fail to meet mandated government standards,
whether it is religious or political. They FAIL and so they don't get
the contracts.
I very much like the idea that Catholic Charities wants to provide
health care services and adoption services to people. I do not want
one penny of my tax dollars supporting them if they fail to meet the
standards of care required by the government.
Roe V. Wade is the LAW.
Anti discrimination is the LAW.
The KKK could provide health care to poor white folks and deny it to
blacks and adoption services only to white people who pledge to raise
kids as racist fucks, but they don't get one dime of support from the
government and never should.
There is no difference...under the law.
