Nigel's Misplaced Innocence
Introduction
"We each begin in innocence.
We all become guilty."
LEONARD F. PELTIER, Prison Writings
My Dear Readers,
The following tale describes how I fervently wish life to be, but am
equally convinced is not. Thus, I hope those who might do me the
honour of reading my little story will excuse me for being such a
deluded sentimentalist. As with my other stories, it is a morality
tale. However, I suspect that of those of you who will have read it,
none will in the end agree as to the lesson taught.
Sincerely,
HMS Victor Victorian
