First, let me thank you for your many posts, including the great Danny
pix. Personally, I don't find Robbie quite as interesting now that
he's getting so much older, but I will always have a thing in my heart
for him -- so please don't stop posting because someone complained! I
swear, from the first pix of him, I thought he had such an incredibly
expressive face -- I honestly think he could smile at you in the
middle of a crowd in a way that you'd be the only who knew he was
smiling -- and that he was smiling at you!
Now, you may be aware that any time you post files that are big enough
to require multiple parts, some newsreaders interpret them as "null".
Of course, the files only need to be renamed with the proper extension
and they are fine. So I guess it's more of an inconvenience for some
of us rather than a problem for you! However, if you would indulge me,
would it be possible to include a par2 file with your posts? Then, all
we would have to do is run it through quickpar, add the saved "null"'s
and it would automatically rename them properly. You wouldn't even
need to make any recovery volumes, just the par2 file.
It's an extra step for you, so I feel a little guilty asking you to do
it. And if anyone else has another easy solution, I would be glad to
hear it. And if not -- then I will simply rename them by hand and
thank you for your fine contributions!
Understand, this is just a suggestion. I will understand if you don't
wish to do it -- and, like I said, be thankful for all your posts.
