The Adventures of Stevie #192
These stories were told to me by friends and other people. Some of them
are true. Some of them are only partly true. Some of them should have
been true. LOL
My first post about Stevie ("Call me Stephen!") was when he was 12 and
in summer camp and was told by another camper. This was from a time
before computers would fit on a desk and when people communicated with
friends in other countries by actual letters sent through the postal
service. When children did this those friends were called "penpals".
Carlos is Stevie's penpal in Argentina and knows English. This is a
fictional contrivance to enable Stevie to tell us his stories because
he isn't here in person. I think.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
Stevie's school is for gifted children who don't fit in regular schools.
The stories may not be posted in chronological order.
Stevie is 14 in this story, after year 4 special school, in the Summer.
The Adventures of Stevie #192 "Great Balls of Fire!"
Dear Carlos,
I woke up first, like I usually do. I don't need much sleep. I poked
Pete awake and said to him in mindtalk, +I've been thinking.+ He said
with humor, +Oh? How unusual. What did you think about?+ I said +I gave
you the memories I got from the alien. I want to give knowledge that
way to the team. What do you think?+ He said +That you're lazy. Wait
before you poke me! I agree it would be great if you could do that, but
we can't test to see if it works, until you do it to Race. We know I
can handle it, and probably all the school students, but Race is very
intelligent, but normal, if anybody ever is. Doing it to him might hurt
him. Badly." I said +I know you have been recording what I've been
doing and saying. Having all that stuck in your head might be alright
for you, but that's not enough. We need to make it so everybody can
have it. Direct transfer is one way. Storage crystal is another, and
much more complicated. I'll explain that later. I want to try it with a
something simple with Race. If it doesn't work, it probably won't hurt
him. We know he will volunteer.+ He said +Yes, he would. If you take it
easy and slow, it should be alright. For now, why don't we give them a
wakeup gift of our nutplay in link?+ I said +Good idea. Discom.+ We did
the nut play, and it was great as usual. Then I started the link for
all 4 of us. Their monsters woke up before they did. We all felt better
and better, after I made the link feedback as intense as we could take.
We all squirted high and hard, without a hand on our monsters. While we
rested, nobody complained. Hard to do that when you are kissing.
We cleaned up and went for a run around the pool a few times. We were
alone that early in the morning, which was what we wanted. Then we came
in and made and ate breakfast. After that, we dressed and ported to my
lab at school. I got out some simple small quartz crystals. I put one
to my forehead and shoved my basic chakra knowledge into it, without
any special instructions about how the information was stored or read.
Then I gave it to Pete, and he put it to his forehead. He said
"Nothing." I said "Try hard with your object sense. Push into it like
you would a charmed picture." He did, and almost dropped the crystal.
He said "Got it! All at once, though. Would be hard to organize for
somebody without my communication gift and training." I said "That's
what I expected. I'll do it differently next time. I just wanted to
test my transferring skills without risking a brain. Race, if I had
done that to you, it would have harmed you. I could do that, and did
more with something else, and not hurt Pete, because that's part of his
specialty. I need to make it so it will work safely for everybody. Are
you willing to be a test subject, doing small gradual transfers? Pete
and I think it will be safe." He said "Sure!" That's what we did. I
pushed a picture into his mind and he got it without any problems.
Except one. It stuck. He couldn't forget it. Good thing is was a nice
picture. It didn't bother him, but it was just that he didn't have to
make an effort to memorize it. He thought that was a VERY good idea.
There were a lot of things he wanted to memorize, and that would make
it much easier. I said we would work on that part later. Next I sent
him basic information on chakras.
Race just sat there with his eyes wide open for half a minute. Then
he grinned and said, "Hit me again. More!" I said "No, not until you
tell us how it felt, and what you can do with it." He said "It felt
like an overwhelming flood for a few seconds, but then settled down.
Then it was like I had a book in my head I didn't have to read to know
what was in it. My delay in saying anything was because I was just
wandering around in it for fun. It might take me a little while to
fully understand it all, but I think that will happen real soon without
any problems." Rod said he was next. I gave him the same thing. He took
it without any problems. Then I gave them the next level. They didn't
have any problem with that, either, not even Race. Then I gave them the
information on basic energy sources, spectra and transformations. No
problems. Then I told them to rest a while, and check their minds for
problems, and look at the new memories.
I set up in one of my mind compartments, all I had given them,
separated by chapters and an index. Then I put it into a crystal with
commands for each of the parts, which I listed in the picture they
would see first, when they put the crystal to their foreheads, and set
it not to activate at all, unless the person had a fully open third
eye. One of the commands in the index was to transfer any particular
part of the contents to the reader's brain. Then I gave it to Pete to
check out. He did and grinned and said, "Now that's more like it! This
works well." I told him about the restriction. He said "Good idea. Next
time you might also want to restrict something based on person's
ethical character." I said "Great idea! Lets port home now. It's better
if I do it for all of us. I don't know what would happen if we all
ported to the same spot at the same time, and I don't think I want to
find out." They agreed. We took the candles to the back yard, and they
were going practice trying to light them with transformed energy.
First, I showed them some fancy energy control, to give them something
to work toward. I made a ball of visible light hover over my open palm.
Then another. Then a third and fourth in the air above them. Then I
moved them in a rotating circle over my head, and then changed their
colors in sequence. For the last part of that, I made them into balls
of fire and then had them shoot up into the sky like fireworks. While
they still had their mouthes open in amazement, I said, "Those were
just some simple energy manipulation and transformation exercises. It's
something the adepts of old used to do to make people worship them. Now
they use guitars and loud music." That got some laughs.
Then we set up the candles, far enough away from the fence so they
wouldn't set that on fire too. I hoped. Then they backed off and tried
to throw heat energy at it, one at a time. It took them a lot of work,
and I had to point out where they could get more energy from, but they
all did it, and could absorb the energy of the flame to extinguish it,
too. I said with a big smile, "Congratulations. You are very near to
being adepts. When you can do these things reflexively and without
effort in an emergency situation, you will be real first stage adepts.
I'm EXTREMELY proud of you." They came to me to hug me, and I ran from
them. I said behind me, "Bedroom!" And I ported there. I few seconds
later, so did they. I got kissed and hugged a lot.
I said "I think that's all we should do for new things for a week.
You need to practice what you know, and get better at it, before we go
on to the next level. And some of us have work to do. Rod, you have a
job at camp. Pete and I have our jobs at the Bureau, and setting up
memory crystals, and Race needs to show his family he's still around,
and then pick up girls at the pool. Remember, our skills are not for
play. We have such an unfair advantage, doing that would push us to the
Dark. Oh, and Rod, I would like to visit the camp again before it ends.
We can bring Race too. I think he would like that. Please check with
the director for when it would be best for a safe fireworks display.
Remember everybody, practice, if you want to get better, so you can
learn more." Rod agreed to ask Mr. Insane, and ported to the camp. Race
ported home. Pete stayed, so we could go to work after lunch. Till
then, we just sat around and hugged, expressing love and contentment.
If you think we did more than that, just before lunch, you might be
right. Boys will be boys!
Your friend,
Stephen
