Skip google groups. Bad interface for accessing usenet. I don't think you
can download anything but text from usenet that way.
Learn about usenet. Search the web, read wikipeda....
Get a news server provider like astraweb, giganews, tera news...
Choose someone that at least say that they don't log downloads.
I know astraweb say they don't. They do however log uploads.
Check that the provider carries binary groups and the groups you are
interested in or that you can ask them anonymously to add the groups.
Get a news reader that can decode the common usenet binary formats like
yEnc. There are both free and commercial ones. You will also need programs
to open .rar files and to make repairs using par2 files
I suggest Winrar anf QuickPar 0.9.1.
I myself would like to get some guidelines/tips on how to upload
anonymously. I'd be very grateful if anyone could share some info about
that.
