BTW, thanks to all of you who've been posting -- it's been one of the
things that I could count on to help with the depression. Which, BTW,
is improving in leaps & bounds now with a few chemical changes by my

updates for me? Would greatly appreciate them, but no hurry.
I hope to start posting again soon. But I have to rescue my hard drive
first.
With the money that my friend Leslie left me, I updated my
electronics. A new flat, wide-screen LCD TV; a Blueray Player with
wifi and NETFLIX; a new A/V receiver (my old Sony had a short and
sometimes I had to smack it to get it to work right!) with hdmi; a new
soundblaster that plays my MP3's through the receiver with DTS
Sound-Retriever technology that makes it sound more like the original,
uncompressed music; a new 14 MP Digital Camera and assorted
accessories -- like a monopod; a Kindle; a few of old Disney favorite
movies and assorted others; Not Fade Away: The Compete Studio
Recordings and More (Buddy Holly!); a new 3 gb hard drive with USB 3.0
and a fast change for all the old loose hard drives I've got hanging
around -- also in USB 3.0. Oh, yeah -- The Best of Libera and I found
a place on Amazon that had all three of the Angel Voices CD from the
90's. Remember Volume 3 has Liam O'Kane singing Walking in the Air,
among others! I forgot about the new portable grand piano keyboard by
Yamaha! To save money, I actually bought a lot of last year's models
that were a lot cheaper than the latest. That way I saved over $200 on
the keyboard and about the same for the Pioneer Receiver. Oh, yeah, I
guess I should mention Harry Potter and The X-Men in HD BD -- rather
nice price on special sets; some Disk World movies -- I've always
loved the book Hogfather! I thought I was getting the Lord of the Ring
extended versions in BD, but it's not available yet, so I ended up
with the standard def set. And I preordered the BD set of the six Star
Wars novels. There's not a whole lot left, but the rest will go
towards a new kitchen sink and fixtures and new bathroom lighting --
I'm finally tossing that old fluorescent that was always more trouble
than it was worth -- especially now that my brother broke it!
Again, I want to thank you -- I don't know what I'd do without you
guys. I mean, even if I'm not directly in contact with you, I get to
hear from you regularly.
Oh, I wanted to ask a personal question. Is anyone else developing a
crush on briefboy? He's doing such an incredible job with posts AND
he's a real sweetie! My guess is he's a real QT too!
