favourite photographs and drawings, perhaps even (like this
one) organized around some particular unifying theme?

The index sheets for this group were created with [IrfanView
Thumbnails], which may be downloaded gratis both from the Web
site of its creator and from many reputable aggregators;
google that name for a list.
Thumbnail sheets allow those with slow (zb dialup) access
to the Net to select particular items for download from a
large posting that they would otherwise reluctantly skip
over entirely because of its size; as the effort involved
in making them is trivial, I consider it a matter of simple
courtesy to include them with any post of more than a handful
of pictures.
