Dear Grant,
Regarding news of the latest outrage to cross the Pond, I couldn't
agree with you more. It is all about control, and it seems to me that
efforts have accelerated over the past decade. Certainly we've those
issues here, but the more I learn of events in the United States, the
more saddened I am as I wonder what has become of the friendly,
charitable and generous American I had once known as a child. Have
things gone so badly so quickly then, or am I simply misled by the
news?
One can only wonder what new ludicrous lie will be postured as the
truth!
I thank you for your compliments and the honor you've given me of
including my name (if not my actual gender) and Nigel in your ongoing
saga of Steven. Perhaps it is just me, but having written about Nigel
has brought him to life in my mind, and I am very fond of him. I
think he would appreciate your intentions. I am presently working on
an installment of Nigel's story, a sequel if you will (something that
is often very badly done, and I hope I can avoid subjecting my readers
to such a disappointment). It involves Mrs. Whitby, little Nigel's
next door neighbor, and an unexpected discovery by Nigel, which has
unexpected effects.
Happy writing! I'm looking very much forward to seeing Nige's rescue!
Sincerely Yours,
Victor
God Save the Queen.
