You're welcome.
I tried to make it realistic. Because people like that can't change in
a second, or want to, for the sake of the story I had Stevie use his
dead war hero son for strong motivation. It was cruel, but it might
have worked in real life.

I don't think the character was actually fictional, except that the
story is fiction. I think a lot of people would feel the same way and
say the same things.
In fact, there isn't much at all that's really fictional in my stories,
because the characters and actions are from the real lives of many
people and how I think they would have acted and reacted. Sometimes two
or more people make up one character, and sometimes I split up a real
person to make more than one character with different parts of the real
person. The actual fiction is bringing it all together to make the
stories that didn't happen exactly as I wrote them or didn't happen at
all, but maybe did in some alternate universe.
I know that can be explained better, but not by me. LOL

That's what I'm trying to achieve. Thank you.
There wasn't anything sexual in that story. The next 11 stories, in
summer camp, are already written, and do contain something sexual in
each one (I think LOL). I hope you enjoy them, even when there might be
some serious things in some of them.
My job as a "writer" is to involve my readers' emotions to the point
where they laugh and cry with me and the characters when they read my
stories as if they were happening in real life. I'm still learning. I
hope I'm on the right path.
