It's not an exactly. It's a zipped and split DVD image file, with pars
(to check for file errors), of a non porn movie file recently posted by
Sir Lancelot.
An image file of an optical disk is a self contained one for one copy
of the original disk. When you use a disk burning program to make a CD
or DVD with it, a process sometimes called "restore", it will be
identical to the original disk the file was made from.
This image file is set for use with software for the Mac called
"Toast". To use it on a PC (or Disk Utility on a Mac) you can change
the file extension from ".toast" to ".ISO", if you need to.
I made and posted it because for some reason I don't quite understand,
IFB can't play the video on the computer he uses and can't make a DVD
of it himself. The original video is in 1080 Full HiDef, which is the
standard for BluRay. I reduced it to 720 HiDef, which is the standard
for DVD. Now after he burns the DVD, he can watch the movie with his
DVD player on his TV, which is lowdef and not widescreen. Maybe it's a
good thing he doesn't know what he's missing. At full HiDef the boy is
so lifelike it looks like he's going to fall out of the screen onto
your lap. And get skewered, I expect. LOL
If you can play the original movie on your computer, you don't need the
file I posted for him. Less is not more!
I had to learn all about this to help him with the first movie. This
one is the second. He said he would holler at me to do it again after
the next movie is posted. Should I use earplugs? LOL
