MOUNT VERNON, IN, United States (UPI) -- An Indiana man who was
arrested after his case was featured on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' has
been sentenced to 52 years in prison for molesting children.

William C. Davis, 33, was convicted by a jury in Mount Vernon, Ind., of
three counts of child molestation in February. Three boys testified
they were abused by Davis when they were 13, 12 and 5, the Evansville
(Ind.) Courier-Press reported Tuesday.

Davis sobbed during his sentencing Monday, telling the judge other
prisoners 'are waiting for me' because of the media attention the case
has drawn.

Davis fled the state to avoid arrest in 2004 and was arrested in Fargo,
N.D., Oct. 6 after Winfrey televised his picture and offered a $100,000
reward for tips leading to his capture. Two acquaintances split the
reward.
