I have to agree with the advice you've been given.
I do take offence that you consider YOUR activity to define the Fort. If
YOU weren't here, the Fort would still exist. The Fort was here before
you arrived, and will be here after you depart.
Yes, you can and should contribute to the Fort. But you should heed the
advice other members give you so that your contributions are acceptable.
