Thanks for the thoughts, Alexei. Yes, all safe and well but we were
planning to go to one of the affected areas in early Jan for some
schnorkelling. That is now cancelled as the resort probably no longer
exists - as far as we can tell. It's a terrible and shocking thing to
happen at the time of peace and goodwill to all men. We were luckier than
many.
On a lighter note, many thanks for your posts here and for ZC which I'm
sure I have but can't find anywhere.
Hope you had a fine Xmas with all the stuffing you can handle. Xmas here
is weird. We celebrate the commercial element but it is not a holiday (by
definition). New Year is a different matter and the first pre-NY party is
on tonight. Of course, being greedy, we manage to celebrate 3 NY's every
year!
