I figured I should give a heads-up to stop anyone asking questions.
At the beginning of February, we had a server do a massive crash and
burn on us. Usually this isn't an issue, as we have a back-up server
for such occasions. Unfortunetly, this WAS the back-up server.
So if anyone wondered why Pern Alliance, Arolos Weyr and Dark Fort
vanished off the map... yep, now you know;-)
We've been lucky in a way. We'd run back ups of Arolos and Dark Fort
at the end of January, so almost everything was pulled a copy of. Pern
Alliance we do not have a recent copy of, and may have to reinstall.
So, for anyone wondering where we are and what our status is.
Arolos (http://www.arolosweyr.co.uk) is back up and running here.
There may still be a few blips on the site so if you notice anything
odd do tell us.
Dark Fort (http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/darkfort) still has no
site back up at present due to DNS issues which we're trying to
resolve. However, we're open for business and new players (in fact,
we're midgoldflight at present) and accepting new characters the old-
fashioned way by email.
Pern Alliance we're still working on. More news on that when we've got
some ;-)
