while sheep arnt mentioned I feel sure they would have made it through the
first pass better than cattle or horses their think about it they would br
easer to care for in the early years in the cramped confines of unexspanded
cave system of fort hold than cattle or horeses. I know most people beleave
that runner beasts are horses I can't help thinking why would they start
calling them runner beasts? could it be the horeses died out and the
colanists were forced to breed a replacements from the domestic animals that
survied ether dheep or goats my vote would go for the goats being runner
beasts and sheep as the beasts of burden after 200 years of an intensive
breeding program for them to produce a breed of goat the size of a horse and
ditto for sheep the size of a ox
