"We were very, very close. We were shooting in Santa Fe
[N.M.] We had the cast. We had the production team. We had
the CGI [computer graphics]. We had the whole enchilada, ..."
The obvious follow-ups, which I've never seen discussed (I
periodically do searches), are:
* WHO were the cast? (Thus ending (yaright) the eternal
"casting" threads.)
* HOW was the script written?
* WHAT did the costumes look like?
* WHAT about the sets?
* WHAT was the CGI like? (Usually there's a lot of post-production
after primary photography, but it sounds like all the *designs*
were ready.)
Where was the studio photographer? (Who documents production for the
inevitable "making of" tie-ins.) Perhaps WB decided to bury all the
pre-production material in a hole ("We FAILED! Let us never speak of
it again,"), although often production crew will sneak out with some
favorite pieces. Hmmm. How often does Moore get invited to cons?
