No, it's not. There is no reference to night threadfalls. I have, myself,
wondered why. Maybe it's photosensitive.
Anne is a great writer, no argument. I have the habit of reading the novels in
the PERN chronological order, as far as is possible. There is quite a lot of
overlap. Even though I have read all of them many times, each is a good story
in its own right. But, there are major inconsistencies betwen them all. To
quote them all would be boring. When a series has developed over 40 years, this
is forgiveable. When she wrote the first short story about Lessa's impression,
back in the sixties, she didn't know what it was going to grow into. Neither
did I.
