Anyone can see these newsgroups. This includes people who collect email
addresses to send spam and hate-mail to, and law enforcement agencies
who want to imprison you.
There are things posted in these groups that are against the law in
some places. Just posting text is a risk here, because it gets you
noticed by people who would do you harm.
No one who values their personal security and freedom would EVER use a
hotmail address, much less post it. You should get rid if that already
exposed email address, and never post again with the same name you are
using now. If you want a secure email address, go here:
www.hushmail.com
To post files here, you will need to have an account with a Newsgroups
Service Provider.
While there are free possibilities, they are not good enough for
serious posting.
Most posters here use, as the most reliable:
www.easynews.com and www.newscene.com
They cost money. There are other providers.
You will also need a newsreader program. Xnews, for the PC, and MT
Newswatcher, for the Mac, are free. There other other ones that cost
money.
If you don't understand ALL of this, STOP. Do NOT post here until you
do, or you will be putting yourself in grave danger.
If you want to learn more about the newsgroups, do some Googling, and
visit those two providers' web sites I listed above.
