It all depends on what you came here for. Were you looking for text
discussions about winged horses or what?
Whether you should or should not have posted this here is not really
relevant since you are using google groups to post your message with. You
see, google groups will only show you text messages, but no binaries
(pictures, movies, mp3's, programs, etc), so it's cinch that you didn't see
or post any image or download any copyrighted movie or music.
If this is your first trip to the usenet, you are only seeing a small part
of it because you are using google groups to access it. To take advantage of
all that the usenet has to offer, you need a news reader like Agent or News
Rover or many others (google keyword "news readers") and you also need an
NSP, News Server Provider like Easy News or Newscene (google keyword search
"news server").
