I am among the sinners and have sympathy for the sinners. That is
because I am a sinner. I can relate to the problems plaguing our
people and nation today because of the church and where it stands.
The churches that thrive are people centered. They address the needs
of the people as deemed necessary for the survival of the church.
Sorry that your church may be on the decline or destroying itself.
That is because those churches are programmed centered, or doctrine
centered, or political in nature. They do not want to serve each
person's needs in the church but want the person to fit into their
program.
Christ was not in the nature of presenting a program, doctrine, or be
a political icon. He was there to address the needs of the people
around him. He was among the sinners. He did not even spend time in
the synagogue to present his message to his followers. He was out in
the world helping those that were weak, hurting, in pain and
sulfuring.
We have needs like everyone else. If a church is not willing to
address those needs of an individual, then I would suggest finding a
church that will help you with your needs. Do not become complacent in
your search for a church. There are a few good churches out there.
There, however, is not a few good denominations out there so I cannot
suggest being converted on the basis of doctrine.
Allow the person himself to become Christ-centered. Then allow the
church to address that centeredness and then help the person address
his every other needs.
If you believe in Christ, you are among the Church of Christ no matter
if you attend a literal church. In essence, you are a part of the
spiritual church. Keep the faith; I will pray for you.
