I have this information from a tweaking tool, "X-Setup Pro", which can be

I've never needed to use it yet so I have no idea if it works OK. It sounds
very straightforward if you want to give it a try:

WINDOWS ACTIVATION
Any Windows version since Windows XP includes Windows Product Activation
(WPA) to prevent piracy. With WPA, Windows "dongles" your product code to
the hardware you are using. This process is called "Activation".
Your product code can only be used three times to perform an automatic
Activation (over the Internet) after which you must call Microsoft to be
able to activate again.
The data that has been generated during this process is saved in a file
called "WPA.DBL" (\system32 path). When you need to repair your
installation, this file will be deleted, so after your repair of this
Windows installation you need to activate again.
This function save the file "WPA.DBL" to the path your specify (for example,
an USB stick etc.). Once you need to repair this installation, simply copy
the WPA.DBL back to the \SYSTEM32 folder and the activation will be done.
