A pity, really, but all it takes is a few good poasters to liven things
up again. There's always a certain amount of turnover because, after
all, you can't waste your whole life bickering with cyber-morons you'll
never even meet. There are more important endeavors, like making a
living, and enjoying the real world. Still, at the end of the day, it's
fun to enjoy a laugh or two... if you can find someone else on Usenet
with an actual sense of humor.

being Usenet and all, but I can answer any question that Checkmate
should know the answer to, such as... for instance, the significance of
the term "monday13," which started a major shitstorm on Usenet 5 or 6
years ago...
