Well, the judge anyway, down on Albany Georgia.
Nobody seems to have the slightest clue as to what The Honorable G.
Sands will hand down. SOME punishment, of course. How MUCH, is
anybody's guess.
I could be back next week ... Or possibly not back for a few years.
The appeals, of course, will start immediately thereafter, whatever
the sentence.
Ah well, this *IS* pretty much what I was aiming-for ... almost 20
years ago. Well, OK .. 18-and-a-half. I was in a lot better shape
physically, mentally, and financially back THEN. On the other hand,
if I only have a few years left and spend them in prison, then I'd
*much* rather have had those same years OUTSIDE while I was young and
healthy to enjoy them, rather than old-and-feeble. Gives me more
memories to take with me.
Here's hoping my ticker doesn't tock-out on the way down there.
Small pain in my back right now, feels all too familiar.
Who knows? I might end up in the Hospital, not down in court.
I'd RATHER be down in court, or even in jail.
