Mine always does.
By sending them directly from his computer to theirs, it cuts down on
mistakes made by bad doctor-handwriting. A good thing, IMO.
He also allows generics to be substituted if the pharmacy suggests it;
and suggests himself cheaper replacements if I can't afford the
brand-name.
I like my doctor.
