I'm also ashamed to admit, even though I was looking forward to
telling her, "Happy Anniversary!" I didn't even think of it today.

OTOH: I celebrated the anniversary of the day we met, four days
earlier by taking her out to eat; and celebrated Thanksgiving with her
also. Three simply *wonderful* days, and two nights.
That, as we'd previously discussed, took the place of actually having
her over for the anniversary of the day we got married; so it wasn't
forgotten.
But I am a bit annoyed with myself that I didn't mention it during our
regularly-scheduled telephone-call. Rats.
