I saw a new logo today on a 20 oz Dr Pepper bottle.  If you haven't
seen it yet, it has

   Dr
Pepper
 Est. 1885

in an oval, with a smaller oval underneath containing
23 surrounded by "AUTHENTIC BLEND OF 23 FLAVORS".

The animation at <http://www.dpsu.com/> has the new design now.

Along with the new logo, the sweetener seems to have changed, at
least in my area, from "HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP AND/OR
SUGAR" (seen on a bottle with the old logo) to just "HIGH FRUCTOSE
CORN SYRUP". I'm not sure how much difference this makes in taste,
but the bottle I tried is like a shadow of the flavor that comes out of
a
pure sucrose mix like the Dublin TX variety (available from
<http://www.dublindrpepper.com/>).  (IMHO, of course.  YMMV).
