Nowhere is pretty much where I appear out of these days. I've gotten
this retirement business down pretty well. I dumped the activities
populated by folks who obsess over talking instread of doing. My focus
is on stuff that actually works and that's seriously kuul -- but time
consuming.
And we get around.
We're just back from two weeks in Tanzania, a trip that exceeded my
wildest imaginings. There is no internet access available in a tent in
the Serengetti nor in the Ngorongoro Crater. On return my unread
header count was ...um... right up there. By the time I'd read a
thread it was far too late to make any meaningful addition. Mostly.
Now I'm gearing up for our grand east coast tour. There is internet
access at every stop along the way. Somehow I don't see myself
spending my time on the road staring at my MACbook. Rumor has it there
are better things to do in Key West among many other places. ;-)
BTW, your recent remarks about the dreadful weather on the Left Coast
tell me that my travel route is not going anywhere near you, so that
issue is moot. The other issue in my last to you does remain germane,
unless it doesn't.
A while back NP posted a video of an LA area weather head. At the time
it was considerably colder in LA than it was here. We were enjoying
our heat wave. [I live on very high ground.]
For the past few days here the temperature has been in the 60s.
Yesterday it passed 70. For the next two days we are expecting sleet
followed by rain followed by freezing rain then snow then freezing
rain then sleet...
Weather in New England is not boring.
Nice to see you here in the damndest place at the damndest time. Who
knows where next?
