There will always be governments. People have a NEED to rule other
people.
Want an example?
People want me out of a newsgroup that's not theirs, in which I posted
no porn files.
I could cite other obvious examples. :-)
Don't you find it a little ironic, that people always want to enforce
on others, rules they don't want to apply to themselves?
A reminder. Governments are made up of PEOPLE, who are supposed to be
doing what they think is best for their constituents. Some of them
actually do, and care very deeply about it. I should know, I've sort of
been one of them, for a while.
Some government is absolutely necessary, for our survival as a species.
We are too many, and travel is too easy. Life forms that evolved in
isolation, are hopping rides with us, and invading new new territories
where they have no natural predators to keep them in check. If
governments don't do what they can to limit this and find workable
solutions for what's already happened, there are going to be some real
disasters. This is just one reason why governments are necessary. There
are others. I know it's unpleasant to think about, but for humanity,
total anarchy means extinction.
Hey, without governments, there would be no internet! :-)
As for ending war, not in your lifetime, which is likely to be longer
than mine. Promoting tolerance, acceptance, understanding, sharing and
love, instead of hate, intolerance and selfishness, might help reduce
their occurrence and severity. Do you think we could start with
Useneters? How likely would that be, to be useful? :-(

True, but I don't know of any who took pictures of them after they
died. I'll have to look into that.
Anyway, BLs aren't known to be necrophiliacs.
Weird? I don't think people LIKE to see them, as in "enjoy". It's a
reminder to care.
I hope this doesn't offend anyone to much, but do Christians enjoy
looking at a images of a person being tortured to death? Gibson's movie
was quite popular.

Interesting. So you let your compatriots rule what you post? Or do you

FEELINGS shouldn't interfere with the *quality* of the logic and

Isn't it interesting that some of you still think I'm a "pedo", even
though I haven't posted any porn, and that BLs dislike me, and even
attack me more than they do Trolls? Are these people actually thinking?
Can they? Or are they just bundles of blind reflexes?
Why are you with them, you who so obviously have a good mind? Don't you
feel sort of out of place with them?
I've enjoyed exchanging posts with you. As I think you know, our minds
can get a little cramped, after associating too long with people who
have some boring ah, limitations.
I do volunteer work with the elderly and disabled, helping them acquire
donated computers. I fix them up and support the users. Tomorrow I'll
be doing some emergency work with one of my clients. Her house is being
foreclosed tomorrow. She needs to access some files on her messed up
Win98 machine, so she can check what might have been sold on Ebay, to
see if she can promise the bank any money. This might take a while, so
I might not be available on Usenet tomorrow.
Maybe we can continue our encounter some time after that.
