I sent in a flooding complaint.  Who knows if
that will have any effect.

You could run some test posts to this group you
mentioned.  Even if it's an old group a lot of
folks  (including lurkers) might know it and be
checking it periodically.

If that doesn't seem to catch attention then
maybe there is some way to give the name of a
series of posts that will obvious only to those
who really are intereted (which could admittedly
include some folks who we'd rather not see
there)....

I've often wondered if there isn't a way to name
a groups without doing so obviously.  I like
puzzles, let me think on it for a bit.
