Top posting can be SO Kornfusing.
What I did before, with others, isn't in effect now. It never was, for
THIS group. BLs were supposed to not post here, according to the
agreement. I said this when Rolex started to post here.
Some of the names I recognize, but their personalities have changed a
little. There is still some amusement in them, though.
So they told the authorities about this group? Did they think LEA are
STUPID? Of course LEA already knew about this newsgroup, and about all
the others, and they DON'T appreciate frightened ninnies bothering them
about it. Do you think our new visitors have ever wondered why this
kind of thing has been allowed to continue all these years? LEA *WANTS*
EVIDENCE to be posted! When they do catch a molester, they want the him
to have downloaded evidence on his computer. They don't take kindly to
"people" who want to interfere with that. Of course, BLs have to
protect themselves with whatever security measures they can take (I
help with that), so the result is that mostly it's real child abusers
who actually get caught, by what they do outside of Usenet. We even
help the LEA find and catch people who are actively harming children.
LEA and BLs are satisfied with this compromise. There is another reason
why this system is allowed to exist. No matter what some "people" might
want, BLs aren't going to kill themselves. They exist. It's estimated
that the average molester, molests over 50 children before he's caught.
How do we keep them away from children? If they are fed enough porn, so
they are so sexually expended from masturbating to it, that they don't
go out and find new victims, children are going to be much safer.
People who care about children, want to do whatever is PRACTICAL, to
protect them from abuse.
So what does all this mean?
People who interfere with the BL groups, are actually interfering with
the arrangements the LEA have made, and they WON'T be happy about that.
And by causing posts to stop, they are actually hurting children. Not
all BLs are child molesters. We want that to STAY that way. If BLs
don't get their fix of porn, well, who wants to be responsible for what
could happen? But guess who will get the heat for messing with the
situation?
As for MY part in all this, well, the fact that I'm mostly disliked by
BLs and Trolls alike, should speak volumes. :-)
