We all make choices. Some good ones, and some bad ones. It's not easy,
at the time, to tell the difference.
I was one of the "old-timers", as you know, who advised against using
this group, and provided some of it's history. You know VERY well, from
your own personal experience, that quite often my advice isn't taken.
And you also KNOW what happens after that, that could have been
prevented had they listened. YOU haven't learned this yet, so why
should you expect anyone else to?
Usenet posters usually reject being told what to do.
You should know. ;-)
Do you think one more voice, yours, is going to change that?
So Froggy has noticed the activity here. It was bound to happen, sooner
or later. What will happen from that, we don't know. Some people are
bound and determined to find out. If needed, we'll have to pick up the
pieces later. It will always be this way, whether us 'old-timers" like
it or not.
Better save yourself some aggravation, and get used to it. :-)
As the group was going to be used despite the warnings, I stayed here,
and contributed to the group, just in case real trouble started with
the "original" owners, so I would have some credibility with the
posters here, to enable me to maybe help out with the negotiations
again, if it comes to that.
I care. I plan for the possibilities. I don't just bust people's heads,
i work WITH them.
Take care,
Y Not
PS.
Apologies to the group. I forgot to post SB today. :-)
