Lexx was at it's best in the first two seasons. (The four movies count
as season 1) Season 3 (Fire and Water) was interesting, but didn't seem
right. I quit watching with just one episode left in the fourth season.
(One of these days I'll actually watch it... LOL)

You're not missing anything. The new series (with a new cast) consisted
of a lot of re-used material - just updated.

There are even a few references to Earl in Raising Hope.
I wish that Earl could've gone on a few more years. Despite coming off
as a lowlife thief early on, it's really about Earl making amends.
