I'm not a techie, either; just sayin' that fewer people are posting
because their posts are deleted by Usenet providers because of legal
requests from DMCA lawyers, so they don't bother to make the effort to
post much anymore. You can check with some of the NZB download sites
like NZBGrabit to get some files which are encoded with the 'alphabet
soup' filenames; free for the previous ten days, and a nominal
membership fee to download NZB's for much further back. But I think
the days of current programming showing up on Usenet as they have for
quite some time are on the wane.
