post contributed 104 pics to my collection. 719 of your pics have
bad crc's - they aren't authentic digital copies of the original
pics taken back early last decade. This occurs over time - for some
reason, people resize them or do other things to them. Call it
entropy. The best way to determine this is to check the crc's
against original crc's perhaps using piccheck/the!checker or
similar if you can put your hands on an original csv. I'd post the
csv for you but you need to work out how to use piccheck first.
183 of your pics fall into the "unknown" category. That is their
crc's differ so from the originals that they can't be classed as
"bad" ^and^ their names differ. I haven't checked them yet but
note there are a lot with a "-00" following the correct name so
I'll try and work out what's happened there for you as well. I
doubt you picked these up from usenet back in the halcyon days pre-
2008 because anyone who posted them would have been loudly derided
so you've probably picked them up from freenet or some other unsafe
repository - I don't know and don't particularly want to know.
However, afficionados who aren't dead yet (or otherwise indisposed)
care only for digitally authentic copies of the original electron
clouds and that means to the last bit.
Now, if you could post the missing and fabled Amy 730 series that
would be something :)
