Well, my current provider is listening and has removed everything, so
they're paying attention to it.
Not really caring personally about either side, but now my interest is
piqued:
$7 Million awarded in damages? Are the girls all getting their cut?
I guess the male side of the site are also getting their amounts, too.
Hmmm.so that equates to (not counting the 60 Southern Gents, who are
silent on the matter I can only assume from the earlier posts):
805 individual women each getting 9,000 bucks, (assuming the site owner
is sincerely worried about each one that he ensures they each get 100%
of the damages, not bloody likely of course). So then if we make the
assumption that the average normal joe buys a 3 month membership, the
retrieval of damages for any one single girl would equate to a redress
of damages of about 300 paid memberships.
So my line of thinking goes as follows: 300 memberships @ $9,000 =
$36K/year (before taxes)/model.
Does each model really have that many members? Or do they have a whole
lot more,potentially offsetting any projected losses?
Do the newsgroup providers have metrics on how many photos have actually
been downloaded so that a true assesment of how many months of content
and true loss of revenue can be made?
What fees do each model have to pay towards the site owner to be
included on the site. Are they entitled to a refund of that as a
separate claim, if damages do indeed exist and can be substantiated?
Is SC attempting to go after all the adult forums perpetuating the WWW
that are also posting this content? The newsgroups still seem to be an
obscure source and can hardly be considered the "source of all
distribution", right?
Or am I really overthinking this and missing something (probably)?
