The 1-4k Fred mentioned in his replay would explain some of the dupes I have where the difference in file size is very very
slight. I didn't know that you could do UseNet posts with IFranView...
Anyways, I've adopeted Freds posts as the "standard" for these groups. JoeBlob, HipNip and some of those other guys that
post on the OW groups modify the files by ether re-sizing them, editing them, or cropping the images. Anything I have that
I've downloaded by them I just scrap now. NewsBin creates description files that ACDSee can use to identify the posters.
What I've done to this point is run 1 pass with your CSV, then run a pass on your sets that your CSV created with Slicks CSV
to seewhat files were picked up or left behind in the 2nd pass. Next is to run Freds files - since he stated that these were
original sized images, I will set that as the base, and then create an "extras" folder for the sets that are not included in Freds,
and I will check to see that there are no identical (content wise) photos.
When this is completed - probably in the next day or two I will post the whole Lola collection with the CSV's and file lists.
Since this is an ongoing project, as Fred shares any updates, I will add to the CSV and post it.
Now I just need to wade through all the other models...ChristinaUK is my next project that I've started - the number of files I
have for her number over 100k.
My goal here is to try an establish a standrad collection for each model - ala CyberClub/SuzeNet collection "standards".
Since I don't subscribe to SC (just too many models for me to afford - plus I'm unemployed at present) I have to depend
on people that I'm confident are reliable posters. Most people in this group fit that bill, the guys in the OW groups do not.
Thats why I was hoping that we could make this a group effort, it will keep the clutter down in the group, as well as make it
easy to fill "Needs Lists" for other people that are also collecting these ladies.
We could always set up a "private network" on one of the Social Networking sites for ease of communications, and then
transfer files/data via FTP or smaller sets through some of the file sharing sites. Once a complete base set has been
established for each model - then we could go through posting them on this group.
What do you guys think? I'm just trying to find a way to make the collection process of a site this large easier to manage.
