Usenet does not go "tits up". That's a ludicrous
proclamation. What happens is that only the fittest
survive (as in real life). There have been many
casualties simply because BASIC errors have been
made by many so called "posters" grossly over-estimating
their abilities. The clueless cannot hope to survive.
"Deter, destroy and generally fuck things up" is very
much the effect of clueless posters, not those who
know usenet. If posters insist on making BASIC errors
nobody can really be surprised if there are deterrents
to better posters, nobody can be surprised if there
is destruction (self-destruction) and nobody can be
surprised if things get generally fucked up. Would
you trust the servicing of your car to a bunch of
chimpanzees? This ain't rocket science, Jack.
Finally, regarding promotion of web alternatives,
it's hard to see how grousing trolls like yourself
can assist in that objective. Maybe if you posted
a few pics you would start to be credible, eh?
