What I did find, after a bit or searching, is a torrent on KickAss
Torrents, posted there by Slimoo (a former uploader for RadioArchive.cc).
His are the most "modern" versions, in that they are mostly 128 kbps and
64 kbps, and I presume, mostly from the then BBC7.
For the rest I agree with JAMES that it is hard to improve on the
source-material: once recorded at 32/22.000 there's no way to get it
better than it is, apart from some obvious sound problems like clicking
and hissing.
Even material from R4X/BBC7 is on occasion irreparably damaged.
And perhaps your daughters ought to learn that with age comes damage....
A hard truth, but a truth nevertheless.
