The Remnant Waltz is a Finnish rock / blues-rock band based in Helsinki, Finland. The band was formed in March 2016 when four old friends decided to get back together to make some honest music after a short absence of working together. The idea was to create songs that groove and hit hard at the same time as well as to make music and perform as a group.
As the summer of 2016 ended The Remnant Waltz had already written and recorded their self-titled debut album, which was released 16th of August 2016.
The self-titled debut album is packed with honest old school rock attitude with a little blues thrown into the mix. The album includes a varied mix of grooving songs and slower rock and blues-rock ballads.
The album was recorded at Inka Studio, Orimattila, Finland during 17th - 19th of June 2016. The album is self-produced and mixed and mastered by Jukka Yli-Aho.
