Hard rocking blues straight from the 70s that recalls bands like Foreigner (Use You Up, Dirty Sweet) and Montrose (Down South Mama), and a light fantasy smell Southern to Skynyrd style (Better Days).
Guitarist Dirk Blevins is the main man here, writing all the songs, and lends his voice to ZZ Top style mixed with Free groove in Slow Down, but their secret weapon is the lead singer Jason Mays, himself a multi-instrumentalist and possessed of a voice that is part of Sammy Hagar when young, part Lou Gramm, and the full force of nature.
Blevins and Mays make a formidable combination, versatile enough to unite through Free as the Blues Long Road and the slowest highlight leaving the heart aflame with Mr. Blues, and Groove rocker Queen Without a Crown.
10 Stones is a sort of "Best of" that groups the tracks from their first three albums, alongside two new tracks, and for those who do not know the band, is a starting point Perfect.
