Two years have passed since "Tough Is not Easy" was born. With the Elftiler
"Solitary Mind", the raustimmige One-Man-Show lays down and presents 44
minutes own compositions with guitar and vocals. (She's My) Mississippi opens
with accustomed blues chords and gives the voice enough Wirkraum.
Between striking-scratchy and passionate-verifiable and determined, Bad
Temper Joe sings through the verses and choruses and manages to set the
tone for soloing. In Homeless, the lap steel guitar comes to full advantage,
sighing in slides through the unsuspecting intermediate parts and revealing a
piece of homelessness recounted in English. As a great friend of long solos,
the piece reaches my patience without exceeding it. Made-Up Woman, too,
sneezes through his five and a half minutes and stays in the habitually used
shores. Overall, an album that will delight lovers of blues and will convince
with its refinement. English-speaking text fetishists will probably come at their
expense. However, those who can not really get used to the art of minimalist
one-manity should keep their ears off of "Solitary Mind".
