This CD consists of rare recordings that were made for private use in
1956 by a friend of the Stanley Brothers. This is the first time these
classic recordings have been placed in general circulation. Working
from the original 1956 masters, these songs have a clear presence that
belies the non-studio nature under which they were recorded. Of
special interest to Stanley Brothers fans is the fact that many of
these songs are ones that were not commercially recorded by the duo -
they could best be described as personal off-stage favorites.
